Greater than one weekOh my goodness, I know these are not traditional watercolors due to not having the gum Arabic in them for opacity, but my goodness, I am IN LOVE. These are so mixable, so customizable, and an absolute and utter joy to work with. So glad I splurged!!

> 3 dayI’ve tried a lot of different watercolors, but found most were chalky and flat looking. Then I tried Kuretake Gansai Tambi. They are awesome. I’m putting these 2 on my Christmas list. They have a lot of new colors in them!

Greater than one weekThe Paint is great, the pans are very loosely placed in the box, and the color names dont all match the numbers on the. bottom of the pans. A wee bit confusing, you just have to go for it it and disregard the color names. Make you swatch and then try and remember to put the paints or keep them in the same place in the box. You cant tell the color of the paint by the color in the pan (some you can, but mostly no) Its a color painting adventure for the patient user. If you are impatient, try another brand.

11-06-2025The colors in this palette are exceptionally beautiful. My wife cannot stop raving about how vibrant they are and steadfast. She did not care that they were targeted towards beginners. They worked for her in everything she has applied them to. The size of the trays of color are large and fit larger brushes . As well, there are many many colors to choose from. Knowing this product came from and was Japanese, it makes sense that it was priced appropriately. We both highly recommend getting this palette is you love using watercolors with bold, vivid colors!

> 3 dayMultiple colors damaged, but most are usable. Im not going to hassle with a return, this was poor shipping vs product issue. Still my favorite brand of watercolor.

> 3 dayI love painting with Kuretake watercolors. The colors are vibrant and do not fade as much as other brands I have tried.
