Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors, 48 Colors

The colors in this palette are exceptionally beautiful. My wife cannot stop raving about how vibrant they are and steadfast. She did not care that they were targeted towards beginners. They worked for her in everything she has applied them to. The size of the trays of color are large and fit larger brushes . As well, there are many many colors to choose from. Knowing this product came from and was Japanese, it makes sense that it was priced appropriately. We both highly recommend getting this palette is you love using watercolors with bold, vivid colors!

Very new to water color and so far this is one of the best if not the best since it is very different from our “western” water color paints. I used the cheat canson Xl and the Princeton Summit brush with these watercolor and boy are they amazing! I would definitely buy it again for sure!

OMG! These watercolors are excellent; they are easy to use and they adhere to the different papers very well. An excellent buy.

Paints arrived broken.

I stayed at home and wanted to paint. I was happy to receive this box of paint and found that one color was broken. Because it is a special period, the virus is threatening everyones health. I decided not to return the goods. But a little unhappy.

These watercolors/ ink pans are peerless in their versatility and quality but I recommend buying them from a website that specifically deals with art supplies; these were poorly packed and one of the paint pans arrived shattered.

I haven’t used this yet, but I’m on my second delivery of this. The first order several of the paints were broken. On the second order, the pink one was broken. I have no idea whether or not it’s something intrinsic in the paint or the delivery process, but it’s frustrating.

Loved the selection of colors. The color in the pan is close to the color on paper.

Great pigmentation. Vivid colors. Only down side is it comes in a paper box instead of a metal box.

Really enjoy getting to know Japanese watercolor.
