> 24 hourThis is a great looking display with fantastic color accuracy. It looks nice side by side with apple displays. The built in speakers are acctually pretty usable (laptop quality sound). The included stand is excellent quality. The Included USB C cable did not work with my m1 Mac. I Solved this by purchasing, a certified thunderbolt4 cable. This display seems to require a proper thunderbolt cable to work with m1 Macs. A usb c cable wont work. I am using in a dual monitor configuration with the secondary display from another brand connected via HDMI. Sometimes the LG display doesnt wake up. I deal with it by hitting esc key, to put the machine back to sleep and wake it up again. Id probably blame apple for the thunderbolt issues, so I am going to stick with 5 stars. This is a nice entry to a pro quality 4k display at the price point.

> 24 hourThe screen itself is pretty good in most aspects for the price, except HDR. I tested the monitor with Windows, Mac, PS4, and PS5 in HDR, the colors just do not look right compared to my TV (Sony X900H), no matter how I tune the gamma, contrast, and so on. Peak brightness is okay, but the minimum brightness can be too bright under low light conditions, it is still pretty high compared to the MacBook that I mainly use this screen with. The stand is pretty nice, the screen can be mounted and unmounted quickly, and the screen can be rotated vertically. Although it can only be rotated clockwise by 90°, you cant rotate it counterclockwise, which can be a problem if you had a multi-screen setup and decided to put this monitor closely to the right of another one, the menu joystick at the bottom of the screen would be hard to reach. Speaking of the menu joystick, its not the easiest thing to use, I would prefer a few buttons.

> 24 hourI have tried three different 4k monitors and this one is hands down the only usable one (probably the best under $400). Its totally compatible with my M1 Macbook Pro, and give good use experience when plugged in. Picture quality is really nice and I have nothing to complain about it.

> 24 hourThis is a beautiful display at a decent price. Not great, not terrible. It matches my 27 iMac quite well in terms of color and brightness. Its not perfect, but its close. The antiglare surface is also nice for smoothing out bright spots behind you. There are myriad ways to connect to the monitor from your computer, I used the display port and it works well. It connects easily enough to my desks VESA display mount, but I wish there was some way to adjust the vertical alignment. I believe that part is more something I will need to do with the hardware I have. My biggest problem with this monitor is the lack of direct physical controls on the device. Everything is done through the on screen menu. And, as of the time of this review, there is no software for Mac to control the brightness of the monitor. So you only have the little nub in back, behind the LG logo to access all the settings (see photo). There is no automatic brightness adjustment so that when ambient light changes, the monitor changes the brightness of the screen. It takes 4 button actions just to get to the brightness setting. Once you are in the Brightness setting, there are 100 steps between the highest and lowest settings, which is overkill. 12-20 steps is plenty. My old display from ASUS had two buttons on the bottom of the monitor to control the brightness directly. It has a super thin bezel around the top and sides; about 0.25. The bottom is about 0.75. As a secondary 4K display this is a nice choice, just be aware of the little things that can make your experience less enjoyable.

> 24 hourBought following a bunch of online research in which I compared 15 different monitors. Ive been very happy with this monitor in the 2 weeks Ive had it. Works great with my 2020 M1 MacBook Air using the USB-C cable thats included with the monitor. (Finding a monitor compatible with that computer was a key deciding factor for me.) The picture quality is plenty crisp and a good deal for the $480 price I paid. Ive used the ~$1200 5K LG monitor that Apple recommends, but it has ghosting issues (traces of high-brightness content take a while to decay after windows are moved around) that made me question whether the 5K was worth the price. This 4K monitor feels like a solid value in a good price/performance niche and Im glad I chose it. I mainly use it for coding and day-to-day web/email/etc. with a bit of graphics work and its done well for me in all those categories.

> 24 hourMy old monitor was fading and having been pleased with previous LG products decided to give this a try and glad I did. Clean functional look and gives me more desk space. Picture is fantastic and colors look natural and also many simple adjustments for different uses. Plenty of inputs for several sources, I have three computers plugged in to it. Speakers are useful if you have none but I already had a desktop sound system which is much better. The small joystick control is a pleasure to use after years of the multi button systems that never felt natural. Some complained of the stand being cheap but I find it sufficient for what it is doing. Very satified with this purchase!!!

> 24 hourThis is used with a Mac Studio. It is incredible quality and worked out of the box with no issues. 100% worth the price.

> 24 hourRunning this on a Macbook Air 2018. Its great, once its configured at a proper resolution -- almost as good a screen as the Airs own Retina. Has a matte finish, but thats no issue to me. Displays text and graphics quite sharply. The only drawback is that I also tested it with a 2014 Mac Mini, and for that there is simply no adequate resolution that looks good, even via the utility SwitchResX which is my go-to in such cases. But with modern hardware I wouldnt think anybody would have cause for complaint, and I certainly like both the USB-C cable for delivering power to my laptop and the extra ports on the back, including two USB-3 ports I use for things like external drives. Highly recced. You wont likely be sorry.

> 24 hourLove this monitor! Im a graphic designer and was in search of a match for the macbook pro to upgrade my work from home situation! I had been given several recommendations, read a gazillian reviews and also I could not justify buying the $700 ultrafine mac pairing for a merely 24 screen. Among the recs, on the line comparison from amazon, this showed up and after reading the reviews (which were all great!!) I decided to give it a try. The monitor itself has a nice weight to it, so it does not wabble and is sturdy. I calibrated it with just messing around the tools and settings, and it was calibrated within a couple tries(and I am not super comp savvy). The speakers work great for zoom calls and the knob is easy to navigate - I also purchased the insurance just in case. So far so good! Im super stoked with my decision!

> 24 hourThis monitor is interesting. I’ve enjoyed my experience with it overall. However, it took me quite a while to figure out the correct settings to be able to use it. The default settings have extremely high contrast. Reds were appearing as some sort of neon red/pink color. I got it figured out after a lot of trial and error. One of the big reasons I got this monitor was so that I could use a single usb-c cord for charging (Mac) and attaching to the monitor. Unfortunately, the monitor doesn’t provide enough power to actually charge the computer. It just dies much more slowly. I use it as my home office computer (graphic design) and it lasts for the whole work day, usually. Then I have to plug into the original charger at night. I didn’t think I would have to do that, so that was a little let down. Anyway, it’s a great monitor overall. Just has a few hiccups that can be worked through.
