> 3 daybought to use with a MacBook Air M1 (2020), crystal clear screen right out of the box, 4K resolution with 60 Hz refresh rate while using the USB-C cable that was included in the box with the monitor (USB-C also charges the Mac while connected). Also includes an HDMI cable. not the cheapest option out there but it looks great and works flawlessly with the Mac Air M1. hopefully the build quality lasts, well see.

> 3 dayFantastic resolution! I am using it with a Mac Mini M2 without any issues. I love the Apple RGB color palette on this screen.

> 3 dayI am driving this monitor from an MBP 16in. The key aspects are as follows: * The software and manuals are on a CD/DVD. One might wish that at least the packing would include a physical printout of the manual. * Using the USB-C cable to connect USB-C to USB-C does not drive the monitor with all of its possible options available. * Trying to drive the monitor through a modestly-budgeted (Anker) USB-C to HDMI adaptor does not provide all of the possible options and indeed seems to give issues tracking the color calibration. * The only option that worked was to use a trusted USB-C (thunderbolt) to HDMI adaptor (I use one from iVANKY). This drives the monitor with its fullest options exposed in the menu settings. * The menu toggle is conveniently located at the center bottom. You can adjust the sound volume with left-right action. You can select the full menu options with a press. * The speakers are somewhat tinny sounding. When sound is being driven through the HDMI, you cannot control volume form the MBP, you must use the monitor hardware button (as noted above). Now that this is set up, I appreciate the 4k next to the Retina on the MBP (sitting on the right of the monitor). I appreciate the extra screen real-estate. I can have a split-view of two different apps running nicely on this monitor. Finally, I appreciate being able to toggle between different pre-sets in monitor output, such a Vivid, Custom, or Cinema. I use this to run Vivid in daylight, a lower-brightness Custom set in dimmer evening light, and Cinema for video movie streaming. Overall, this is a very good to excellent option as a second monitor to a MBP 16in.

> 3 dayI ordered this monitor hoping to save some space and money over going the route of a traditional 4K monitor and a USB-C/Thunderbolt docking station for my macbook. I was hoping to be able to use one cable for video, data and charging. It works, most of the time, but the USB-C features on this monitor have some frustrating issues. The monitor has issues charging my macbook, sometimes dropping the charge current to less than 10 watts, or other times stopping it entirely, which can only be resolved by power cycling the monitor. Im not sure what the power rating of the USB-A ports on the back of the monitor is. They work well enough with thumb drives, graphic tablets, keyboard & Mice, other low current items, but trying to charge an iphone from them causes a USB power error message to pop up. The audio output on the monitor is not always detected by my laptop, and often requires disconnecting and reconnecting the USB-C cable to get it to work. The mute and volume keys on the apple keyboard are disabled when using the monitors audio output which is a common problem with many cheaper digital audio interfaces, but is still frustrating when compared to dedicated desktop hubs, or USB-C monitors from Dell or Apple which still allow you to use these keys. I downloaded the software package from LG hoping that it would include drivers to enable these features or improve the reliability of the other USB-C features but it does not change anything. The display itself is gorgeous and I have no problems or complaint with it as just a monitor, but I think the USB-C implementation fails to justify its added cost over the displayport only version of the same monitor. Im making it work but will probably purchase a thunderbolt 3 hub eventually to hopefully handle charging and audio more reliably. I love the image quality of the 4k display but if I were to do it again I would either get the cheaper displayport only version of the monitor and an external hub or look at options from Dell or another manufacturer.

> 3 dayNot the greatest monitor I’ve ever owned but not bad for the price. Only gripes: 1. The arching stand is atheistically pleasing but functionally ridiculous. Takes up a great deal of real estate on the desk and does not seem as stable as a more traditional monitor stand. 2. Why on earth would anyone send the manual on CD in the year 2023? Either print out a one pager on how to navigate the menu system or give us a QR code to find it on your website. I just want to plug and play, not go through a wild goose chase to find out how to use all the features I paid for.

> 3 dayI have two LG 27UN850-W 27 Inch Ultrafine UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS Display with VESA Display HDR 400, USB Type-C monitors set up side by side. They take up a lot of real estate, both with the width of the monitors and with area consumed by both bases side by side on the desk. Takes up at least 8 inches from the stands vertical base to the tips of the semi-circular stand. Now imagine double occupancy for the dual monitors. So thats room you wont be able to fully utilize for other more desirable tasks. The monitors themselves seem to operate fine. Does have a pop-up window that appears ever so often that the cursor wont seem to engage the action button. Cursor disappears when trying to click on the window. But a main point that I want to stress is that you need to have a graphics card on your computer/source system thats adequate enough to push dual 3840 x 2160 displays if you want to take full advantage of the monitors capability.
