> 24 hourIve owned LG monitors before (specifically an Ultra 4K). I bought this monitor for primarily the specs! I needed 1440p and 144Hz. I have come to realize that a 27 monitor is perfect for me, as 32 and higher tend to be less precise and detailed for this resolution. The brightness is OK, but the color is awesome on this panel. The only area that concerned me at all when I got it up and running is that there is a slight shadowing along the left and right edge of the panel. Not enough to scare me away, but enough that I noticed. I typically only notice it when Im looking for it! Keep in mind when buying a monitor, there is always a bit of panel lottery that you can look forward to. On the bright side, there were NO Stuck or Dead pixels on this panel. My last monitor (pretty much the same specs) had a couple of dead pixels that were unrecoverable. The GUI on the this monitor is accessed on the power button at the bottom of the screen. It is a joystick style button that is very easy to use and make changes with. My last monitor had four specific buttons on the bottom of the monitor to access the GUI. I cant tell you how many times I messed up navigating around with that setup. This one is quick and easy. The available settings are adequate, but not that robust. Enough to dial in the monitor with basic settings. The bezel is fairly borderless on the top and sides. But even though the panel goes almost to the very edge of the display, the lighted area of the panel still leaves a about a quarter inch black border on those three sides. The bottom border has the LG logo, and is about 5/8 tall. The display powers on fairly quickly, and doesnt annoy you with a manufacturers splash screen. It only takes a couple of seconds for power-on to ready! Windows 10 recognized this monitor right away when I hooked it up, and even set itself to 144Hz without me doing anything at all. It is nVidia compatible, and is on nVidias approved list (my last monitor worked just fine, but was not on the approved list). I got this when it was temporarily price reduced, so keep your eye on it, or put it in your wish list items and wait for it to go on sale. This one went on sale, and was sold out on Amazon within half a day. The price jumped almost 30% later the day I bought this one, and was no longer in stock. I dont think you can go wrong with this product, and would recommend it to almost anyone.

> 24 hourReceived monitor in a timely fashion, but it doesnt work as advertised. Claims to work at 144hz refresh rate, but glitches out with green/white/blue lines across the screen when running at 144hz. The screen will also go blank for as little as 3 seconds to up to 30 seconds making games unplayable when it occurs. When switching down to 120hz cap on refresh rate, monitor works fine, but that isnt what I purchased the screen for. Wanted to get a replacement through Amazon but they refused to give me a replacement, only offered to refund me which I did not want a refund since I got the monitor on a discounted deal. Now I am trying to get LG to repair the monitor but they arent capable of sending a shipping label to my email when they say I should be receiving it. I am now on my third attempt trying to get a repair shipping label from LG since they said they cannot send them immediately, it should be sent by the end of the day. Worst experience with both Amazon and LG ever. Would not recommend either since neither are willing to replace the monitor. Update: Was able to send the unit for repair through the LG website. This has been the worst experience I have ever had to deal with. First it took 5 attempts to get their support staff to send an email with the shipping label which took over a week of back and forth them telling me to wait and then me complaining that it shouldnt be this difficult to send me a shipping label. Though the repair took about 1 week after the allotted shipping time which was quick. The downside was the unit was not fixed at all, it still had the same issue where it would get a line glitching across the screen and then goes blank for up to 30 seconds. So now the day I got it back I am now being asked to wait for another shipping label for them to repair my unit again, this time I asked for a new unit as replacement but they refused since they demand I have to send it in at least 3 times for repair before that can be an option. LG make terrible products and I will actively tell others to avoid their garbage products and support. Update 2: Just received the monitor from repairs from LG, they sent it without the power cable and am now waiting to hear back about what they can do for me. Cant even test the monitor if it has been properly fixed until I get a new power cable. Very disappointing and extremely frustrating experience dealing with their support services for repairs.

> 24 hourThis monitor is high quality for its price or it was when I bought it but its now obsolete and I can only recommend it if its on a significant lower price than the nano version. Rtings have a custom ICC profile for this monitor, you may check that out in case that you decide to buy this. These UltraGear monitors will perform well and it comes with a stand that will allow you to rotate the monitor in case that you want to play a game with Tate mode. It comes with both HDMI and DP cables. BTW keep in mind that these monitors dont have DP 2.0 connection.

> 24 hourThis monitor is a great step up from the similar version of it that is 144Hz at 1080p. That one has a great balance of performance and picture. This one, however, doesnt have a great color balance but is able to properly output a sharp 1440p picture. It took some configuring, but I found a sweet spot for the picture to not look too cool and for blacks not to look as crushed. But now, 6 months after purchasing, I am noticing the screen flickering. If I load up a game, theres a chance that the screen will flicker. Theres even some flickers when Im not playing anything! I dont think the display itself has a problem, but its not handling G-Sync properly. I sent in a service request to have this looked at, which means Ill be without this monitor for a good month or so. Others seem to also have the same problem, so just be aware of this. Nice monitor, but some serious drawbacks that wouldve made me reconsider buying this.

> 24 hourI have this monitor that Ive bought new, love it works great never had any issues. Bought another one (refurbished) and didnt have problems for a month until last night. MUCH troubleshooting before realizing they did not send the adapter that normally goes with this monitor. Sent one that does not provide enough amperage.

> 24 hourEstoy conforme, funciona bien. De momento no tengo ninguna crítica. Es ergonómico, ya que puedes ajustar su altura e inclinación, y me gusta que tenga apagado y encendido automático.

> 24 hourThis thing is amazing. Ive had a decent, not true gaming monitor for a long time now that was IPS. It looked good, but it was 60hz. I decided to finally go with the 144hz camp and researched around for some 1080p 144hz so I could always get 144 fps. I have a 1080ti so should pair up plenty of power going forward. Well, I got some Asus MG248QR which is supposed to be a decent TN panel. IT was fast, the gaming experience was great, but it really looked like trash. Grey on white while surfing, e-mail was hard to read. Eye strain etc. The motion was great in games and ghosting test was solid. My friend had a 27 TN he just got that was pretty solid, looked a little better than mine, and I liked the resolution. So I decided that I was going to return this one, and just bite the bullet and spend more money. I spent 240 with tax on my TN panel that was 24. After so much back and forth I was about to bite the bullet on a LG 27GL850 which was rated one of the top montiors, but they say the contrast was meh..... then after awhile I found this montior and was like well I dont need HDR color accuracy and the USB hub so lets go for it. All in all it was just an extra 150 bucks over the TN I just got. Well it came in today and OH MY GOD. Its such a difference.... the resolution def. helps, but the IPS look is back, and its like I have my same old good picture Im used too, with amazing 144hz gaming. Not to mention this thing is even better ghosting than the TN had. UFO Ghosting test is almost clear, its pretty amazing how Modern Wafare looks on this monitor. I still get about 100-144 fps in 2k res. So its perfect for G-Sync. This monitor also has plugged right in and worked with Modern Warfare, the old one I would have to constantly fight turning on and off g-sync etc. to get it to run smooth without lag when it dipped below 120fps. Anyway, in a dark room, and black background of course this thing isnt black, and no IPS will be. But that brightness makes everything pop when there is stuff on the screen, and the contrast between white and a black box is nice. Anyway, only got a very small edge bleed in top left corner, uniformity is very nice, and left edge has a very so light dim light but its only noticeable on black screen, big woop. IMO its perfect and so glad I found this for 379 bucks. Saved 120 over 850 and its totally worth it. Dont look at any other monitor, bite the bullet, this is the monitor you want to get hands down if you game, and work and its just a perfect all around monitor.

> 24 hourMy prior Samsung dual monitors on the same system never had a single issue. After purchasing a pair of these LG monitors it is all problems with sleep/power mode to the point the monitors crash - black screen and disconnect with my video card. I have been forced to completely disable all sleep and power management. I would have preferred to have sleep mode working but LG has not provided a working solution with their equipment. Tried monitor, video card and OS drivers with different versions etc also tried other OSs all the same result. Also tried using HDMI latest version of cables vs the Display Port cables being used - same issue, crashed black screens from sleep/power management. I wish I had known about this issue as I would have given consideration to other quality Monitor Manufacturers. The other features of the LG monitors is sufficient, HDR, GSYNC, FREESYNC etc and have thankfully functioned correctly.

> 24 hourIf you are on the fence, buy this monitor, it is amazing. Pros: IPS Panel -IPS panel gives greater viewing angles and better color accuracy than TN or VA. The main downside to IPS is that the GTG response time tends to be a bit slower and the blacks are not as black. However these are both easily trade offs for me. 1440P Resolution -Honestly 1440P is the perfect resolution for gaming. It is miles better looking than 1080P and doesnt require the huge computer power to drive 4K. I am running a RTX 2080Ti FE and I get probably 60FPS+ on max settings for most AAA titles, but I still prefer my 1440P monitor for the next reason... 144Hz Refresh Rate -Few 4K monitors will boast 144Hz refresh rate and the ones that do cost a fortune. On top of that, you will need a beastly multi-gpu setup to get 144+FPS out of your AAA titles at max settings anyways. -144Hz is so smooth and is a much better experience than 60Hz. I also have a better feel in FPS type games. 27 (which is also as big as I would recommend for desktop gaming) -Any bigger than 27 and you are entering TV type of territory IMO. For gaming, I want to be able to see my whole screen with minimal movement of my head. When sitting at my desk, with a distance of roughly 2feet between my face to the monitor, it is the perfect size. Cons: The only con I have with this monitor, and this is pretty nit picky, is the lack of auto input detection. I use my desk for both work and play so I have this monitor plugged into my gaming desktop all the time, but sometimes I have a separate cable plugging it into my work laptop. When I switch from using my desktop to laptop and vice versa, I need to manually change the input. There is no separate button to do this and the monitor does not auto detect and ask if you want to change input sources, so you need to go through the menu to change the input source. Very minor complaint. Neutral: This monitor is G-Sync Compatible but not true G-Sync hardware. The G-Sync hardware is extremely expensive and this monitor is an excellent price. Honestly, should be a Pro that this monitor is even G-Sync compatible for the price.
