> 24 hourI purchased these as I needed more smart outlets to work with HomeKit. They are incredibly easy to set up and add to HomeKit. The Meross apps is needed to update firmware, but past that HomeKit can fully control and automate these as far as you want to go. I have one setup with a pet bed heater. Using HomeKit and Shortcuts I was able to make the plug turn on only when the weather was forecast to be below 40! Im saving power and my cat is loving a nice warm bed! Another I used to turn on holiday lights at sunset and off at sunrise. I could not be happier and will be purchasing more of these as well as looking at other products that Meross offers. Ive been in the Wemo camp since they originally launched, but this product is much better, much easier to use and does not require a bridge like my (admittedly older) Wemo switches/outlets.

> 24 hourWorks well with Apple Home. No so good with its own app - all the switches have the same name and the app does not allow changing them. Go fish to figure out which is which. This is even worse with the in-wall switches.

> 24 hourBuggy. Requires registering with your email address to use app or update firmware. Switches power on and off multiple times during setup. Loses automations when updating the firmware. Doesn’t see HomeKit devices without adding to the app multiple times. Loses connection to WiFi when router reboots. Lacks power usage meter feature common on competing HomeKit power plugs.

> 24 hourI’ve had their bigger plugs work really well before, I saw no reason these smaller versions won’t work just as well, and that they did. The meross app saw the smart plugs really quick and setup was a breeze. I’ve never really had Wi-Fi issues with these plugs since my home isn’t al that big, but what I like about this brand of smart plug is that it just works. I’ve never had an issue with Alexa and these things not responding. If you’re on a budget but would like to smarten your home, give these a try.

> 24 hourWorks every time and was a snap to install. The only thing I regret is I don’t have more plugs and more stuff to plug into them.

> 24 hourI started my home automation journey several years ago with the purchase of a number of Wemo light plugs and switches. This was a great initial start but as I transitioned to HomeKit I needed another solution. Wemo introduced their HomeKit bridge which served as a temporary solution until I could find a way to transition to native HomeKit in a cost effective manner. Recently I discovered the Meroos Smart Plug Mini, 16A plug, on Amazon and was impressed with their compact size and that the plugs provided HomeKit as well as Alexa, Echo, Google Assistant compatibility at a very affordable price. I did not hesitate ordering first a 2 pack and then a follow up 3 pack of the plugs to upgrade my HomeKit system. The Meroos plugs are a great value and work fully as advertised with respect to HomeKit. The plugs are ETL certified to the UL STD 60730-1 and 498 for use in a 120VAC/15A outlet. The 3 pack comes neatly packaged with the 3 plugs, Meroos and HomeKit guides. Reference photos of package contents and plug installed in wall outlet. HomeKit installation is straight forward. Plug the device into an outlet, wait for the device to initialize (LED on side will alternately blink between green and yellow), open the HomeKit app and select add device, and point your iPhone at the QR code on the top of the device. HomeKit completes the installation from there. Reference HomeKit installation screen grabs. Suggest initially accepting the default HomeKit device name until you decide which physical room you will be using the plug in and then rename within the HomeKit app. Siri uses both room and device reference. So, “Hey Sire, turn on Living Room Lamp” can be distinguished from “Hey Sire, turn on Bedroom Lamp”. Both will be named “Lamp” but are distinguished by their room. It is also recommended that you download the Meroos app as HomeKit currently does not have the capability to update the firmware on your devices. The Meroos app will manage the firmware update process as shown in the attached screen grabs. I can highly recommend the Meroos mini plug for those just starting with HomeKit as well as those that may be looking for an affordable upgrade.

> 24 hourFor how cheap they were, I expected some gotcha. But there hasnt been any! They work great and stay connected all the time. Much more reliable than the iDevices outlets Id had before.

> 24 hourI now have several of these homekit plugs from Meross and am very happy with the ease of install and setup with Homekit...they are very very inexpensive and so far are working great!...One thing to note is on a mesh wifi setup make sure your 2.4ghz wifi band is set to 20mhz width....I previously had it set at 20/40 and that caused all kinds of problems for smart devices like these plugs!

> 24 hourPurchased these plugs for my holiday lights. Pretty easy to use after a few failed attempts at connecting to my Home set up on my phone. The clicking sound isnt terribly loud, but noticeable if in a quiet room, with a slight delay. Overall not bad though, good value as you get two.

> 24 hourGreat plug fast response only complaint is it’s kind of bulky and night not fit some places but what’s cool is you can set it up directly with the HomeKit app you don’t have to have some separate app.
