Been searching for an outlet that works with Siri and Alexa. This is the one! It was quick and easy to set up. Please note that if you have a router with 2.4 and 5.0 ghz, you’ll have to turn off the 5.0 to get them to sync to your router. I plan to start putting these around the house. The downside is it is very thick and with a plug inserted, it does bring your dresser/entertainment/bed much further away from the wall.

Overall fine, but one of the plugs didnt work at all, no matter what I tried.

Already had the Meross app for the garage door opener, so why not get the smart plug too? Just as easy to set up, no issues with Homekit or wifi. The fit is spot on - you can get two into a standard double outlet and they are no wider than the outlet faceplate - see photo. Great prices on the multi-packs too.

Works well with Apple Home. No so good with its own app - all the switches have the same name and the app does not allow changing them. Go fish to figure out which is which. This is even worse with the in-wall switches.

I purchased these for my older apartment with limited light switches. Pros: They are fairly cheap, they are easy to setup and install, they instantly work with Apple Home Cons: They are almost always updating in Apple Home which causes me to have to wait before I can turn them on You might be thinking thats a lot more pros than cons, I can deal with that, sure go for it but its seriously annoying, luckily they have a button where you can turn on the light if it freezes in Apple Home but at that point why even buy them? They also have a separate app I could try to make connectivity more reliable but if I wanted to use a third party app (not Apple Home) than I probably would have done a different outlet plug. All in all these arent bad and I use them daily I just have to wait a decent amount for them to catch up with Apple Home, theyre just annoying sometimes and I wanted to let yall know.

They took some time for me to be able to install, but they made my life so much easier once I did. I use them with google nest and dont have any issues with them.

Im using iphone 11 to install these outlets on a Smartthings hub Im sure Im just a noob, but Ive had enough smart products to notice ones that havent resolved many install concepts. NOTE - you have to have a Meross account for this to work, would have been nice to know before purchase, I would have just bought smartthings outlets to avoid that process. When you install on the iphone using the smartthings app here is what happens. 1. Smartthings tries to connect with meross app (whick you wont have an account) and you cant add a new account here. 2. So then you download the meross app and register a new account. 3. It tells you to select the device in wi-fi. Except, when you do this apple will force you to install this on the apple home, which is not the same as meross app. 4. Once you complete the install on apple home, then you can reload the meross app and find unbound devices and add it there. 5. Then you can go back to smart things and add the item with your account there. I was not able to find these install instructions on meross site, or through the app. It describes a much smoother process that I cant seem to find.

I now have several of these homekit plugs from Meross and am very happy with the ease of install and setup with Homekit...they are very very inexpensive and so far are working great!...One thing to note is on a mesh wifi setup make sure your 2.4ghz wifi band is set to 20mhz width....I previously had it set at 20/40 and that caused all kinds of problems for smart devices like these plugs!

When I set these plugs up in October, they worked as advertised. I could not only use Alexa, but Apple Home Kit. Then came a firmware upgrade and a router change. I tried everything suggested on the web to get any of the three plugs to work with Home Kit or Amazon alone. Could not install them in the Meross app. I had another Merosss plug, (non-Home Kit) and it worked fine. I sent in a support ticket, but no response. Spent the better part of two days and a variety of install options but no luck. Back to Amazon they went.

I own several different smart plug varieties from numerous different vendors. The first thing that I noticed upon taking the Meross Smart Plug Mini out of the box was its weight - it feels more solid and well-made than most of the competitors plugs. However, the size is just right - I have a couple of other smart plugs that block the second outlet when being used, or protrude significantly away from the outlet. The Meross Smart Plug Mini does neither, meaning the other outlet is still usable. Pairing with SmartThings was not quite as straight-forward as with the Z-Wave Plus (or even Zigbee) plugs that I have, but I find this to be the case with most Wifi versions. When I opened up the Meross app to pair and add the plugs on my iPhone, for whatever reason, it defaults to the Apple Home app to continue setting up the plug. I dont use Homekit, personally, because so few devices are Homekit certified - so this was a minor annoyance. I could not find a way to complete the setup in Meross without first doing so in the Home app... However, once the device was configured in the Home app, it did appear in the Meross app. I had previously linked my Meross account with SmartThings, so once I opened SmartThings, each of the three Meross Smart Plug Mini devices showed up in SmartThings, and can now be used in Routines/Automations, added to the proper Room, etc. Because I have SmartThings linked to Alexa, I choose not to link Meross directly to Alexa (otherwise Duplicate devices appear), but I have no doubt that this would work seamlessly as well. I would recommend, and certainly would not hesitate to purchase additional Smart Plug Minis from Meross in the future if I have a need for more.
