> 3 dayI get skeptical of really highly reviewed products with a small but vocal amount of 1 star reviews... you know, manufactured ratings and the like. So I was skeptical here naturally, but I had zero issues. Using my phone I had all three switches connected and running in under 5 minutes. 2 weeks later, no disconnects and everything has been super reliable, despite having a large house and the switches spread around. Will be buying more.

> 3 dayWow. I was fairly skeptical of these since the price was so reasonable—but they set up easily on the first try, integrated easily with Apple HomeKit, their app is clean and easy to use...I literally don’t have a single complaint. I’ve used 3 different major brands of wifi switches, and none of them are superior to these in any way. I will happily order this brand of devices again, and would have no problem recommending them 100%!

> 3 daySO EASY TO SET UP! I have had some issues with other Homekit products (and by issue, I simply have to enter the code instead of scan) but all of the Meross products I got up and running in about 3 minutes! I have them hooked to my Alexa too and they work PERFECT! Great for routines/automatons when coming home. Even use them with IFTTT for some more advanced scripts.

> 3 dayUpdate: Played around with my WiFi network for quite some time - not sure what I did, but my network is working better, and these plugs are now recognized! Still not terribly user-friendly: a second (outdoor) Meross plug was again unresponsive when I tried to set it up in HomeKit, but after a iPhone reboot (why?!) I got that to work too. Had to repeatedly reset the plugs to get them to work, though- Home (in iOS) said Id already set the plugs up, but they were not visible in the app until I reset and went through pairing again. So Ive bumped up my rating to three stars for now. If I find these reliable, I will probably add another star later. ------------- (Original review)----- I thought I’d try these specifically for their advertised HomeKit-compatibility. Spent an hour trying to set one up. Do you follow the (poorly translated and obtuse) instructions included in the package? Or do you follow the instructions in the Meross app? I went for the latter. Plugged in the plug, scanned the QR code, came up in iOS Home on my iPad. Tried linking. Nope, timed out. Tried again with my iPhone. Nope. Tried another plug from the package. Nope. Tried the outdoor Meross plug I had also ordered. Nope. I went through the troubleshooting tips (move your device closer to the plug - umm- closer than the six inches currently?) I have a dual-band, new T-Mobile router. Go into router management and fidget around with my router settings to turn off 5 GHz? I don’t think so. Nothing but aggravation. Maybe I’ll try again next week (when I’ve cooled down) with a different router, but just a waste of my time so far.

> 3 dayThese smart plugs work great, but be aware that if used with Siri, sometimes, at least with my wifi setup, I have to ask Siri twice to turn off or turn on the lamp attached to the plug in my living room. However, when using Alexa via an Echo Dot, it works flawlessly 100% of the time.

> 3 dayI bought these to replace my iHome ISP6X Wi-Fi Smart Plugs. They were constantly disconnecting from Wi-Fi, wouldnt respond to HomeKit and would stop responding to the iHome app. Im very impressed with the Meross Smart Plugs! These were simple to setup and configure. They were successfully added to HomeKit on the first try and have stayed online without the need to reboot/reset/reconfigure them. Now when I say Hey Siri, turn the floor lamp on, it actually works! So, if youre thinking Hey Siri, find me a smart plug that actually works, consider these from Meross!

> 3 dayThis is my second set of Meross smart plugs - and Ive yet to be disappointed. The app is required to initially set them up, and I believe you need to enable to Meross skill via the Alexa app, but once youve taken care of downloading the Meross app and enabling the skill, there really is nothing to adding these outlets to your network. Plug them in, open the app, click the + icon, and it will immediately show all of the new outlets that youve plugged in. Simply name them and select the network to which you want them to connect, and the app does the rest. It will connect the switch to your network, and as soon as that happens, Alexa will recognize that youve got a new smart plug to control. Ask Alexa to turn them on or off (if you named them desk light for example, all you need to do is say Alexa, turn on the desk light), and youre good to go. I havent had any issues at all with any of my Meross outlets.

> 3 dayPurchased these plugs for my holiday lights. Pretty easy to use after a few failed attempts at connecting to my Home set up on my phone. The clicking sound isnt terribly loud, but noticeable if in a quiet room, with a slight delay. Overall not bad though, good value as you get two.

> 3 dayI previously bought one of these mini smart plugs a year ago, which worked perfectly fine and always connected when I needed to use it. The quality in these plugs took a nose dive though; with these 3 it took a while to connect to the Home app on the iPhone to pair them - I even downloaded the Meross app since it was recommended per the instructions. I lose connectivity to the plugs at least 1x/day, which requires me to open the Meross app and switch the plug off and on until it connects. Its annoying. Spend the money and get the Lutron ones. Youll save yourself a headache.
