Great plug fast response only complaint is it’s kind of bulky and night not fit some places but what’s cool is you can set it up directly with the HomeKit app you don’t have to have some separate app.

I actually own seven of these Meross MSS-110 smart plugs. I use them mostly for lights and fans. Given they can handle 16 amps, I also use one to run my pool pump on a time schedule! Of course its located inside a weather-proof enclosure under my pool deck - but it is still a good distance (20 feet outside the house) and usually never drops below 50% wifi signal strength... which is amazing! The Meross app is very easy to use. I also have 2 of the Meross garage openers. All plugs and openers are controlled from a single (Android) phone app. Once you add the Meross skill to Alexa, these plugs are easy to control through Alexa voice commands and routines (like time schedules). Once you add a new device to the Meross app, Alexa automatically recognizes and adds the same device. If you name it light Alexa will group them into the lights group as well. Adding a new device in the Meross app is easy as it will remember the wifi settings used previously to add a new device, so setup on each plug is under a minute! In summary these are great smart plugs at a good price. They have a STRONG wifi signal range, and work reliably. If the power goes out, they will restore the same state (on or off) as before the power dropped... also nice!

These are great smart outlets. Actually, I’ve switched to buying all meross products. They aren’t as reliable as WEMO, but they are much cheaper. They are reliable enough that I don’t think it’s worth the extra money to buy the WEMO version.

Wow. I was fairly skeptical of these since the price was so reasonable—but they set up easily on the first try, integrated easily with Apple HomeKit, their app is clean and easy to use...I literally don’t have a single complaint. I’ve used 3 different major brands of wifi switches, and none of them are superior to these in any way. I will happily order this brand of devices again, and would have no problem recommending them 100%!

Update: Played around with my WiFi network for quite some time - not sure what I did, but my network is working better, and these plugs are now recognized! Still not terribly user-friendly: a second (outdoor) Meross plug was again unresponsive when I tried to set it up in HomeKit, but after a iPhone reboot (why?!) I got that to work too. Had to repeatedly reset the plugs to get them to work, though- Home (in iOS) said Id already set the plugs up, but they were not visible in the app until I reset and went through pairing again. So Ive bumped up my rating to three stars for now. If I find these reliable, I will probably add another star later. ------------- (Original review)----- I thought I’d try these specifically for their advertised HomeKit-compatibility. Spent an hour trying to set one up. Do you follow the (poorly translated and obtuse) instructions included in the package? Or do you follow the instructions in the Meross app? I went for the latter. Plugged in the plug, scanned the QR code, came up in iOS Home on my iPad. Tried linking. Nope, timed out. Tried again with my iPhone. Nope. Tried another plug from the package. Nope. Tried the outdoor Meross plug I had also ordered. Nope. I went through the troubleshooting tips (move your device closer to the plug - umm- closer than the six inches currently?) I have a dual-band, new T-Mobile router. Go into router management and fidget around with my router settings to turn off 5 GHz? I don’t think so. Nothing but aggravation. Maybe I’ll try again next week (when I’ve cooled down) with a different router, but just a waste of my time so far.

I had one go bad from a previous purchase on a Sunday and had a replacement on Friday after a couple of days trying different things. Kudos for great customer service and standing by their product

I had tried other products to start building our HomeKit that were unreliable and extremely difficult connect and constantly dropping their signal. I ordered these because they had positive reviews and the very day I set them up I ordered more. These plugs are a great addition to provide us with some simple automation that allows us to turn on lights when our hands are full or set certain lights too come on at night so we dont have to come into a dark house. I havent had a single instance where I have had to reconnect any of these outlets and have even picked up a couple of light bulbs which perform WAY more reliably than some brands that cost 3-4 times as much and dont take 20 minutes and 4 tries to connect. I highly recommend Meross brand smart plugs if your looking to start setting up your HomeKit because they are affordable and reliable!

The Meross outlets work fine with the Meross app. The Meross outlets work fine with the Apple Home app. However, the Meross app doesnt integrate with Apple Home. That means the outlets have to be added twice. Once to the Meross app for managing updates, and again to Apple HomeKit for scheduling automation, scenes, and Siri integration. This is a poor execution and user experience. Many of the competitors app directly integrates with the Apple Home app for simple setup and management.
