> 3 daySo this plug does what it says. Allows me to run a pump when needed from anywhere (with internet). The instructions were awful and getting this connected was about as frustrating as anything Ive ever done in my life - and no Im not exaggerating.

Greater than one weekAfter looking through a ton of reviews looking for the quick and easy way to get this plug connected I was left in the dark. I tried emailing Minoston but that also failed as a they have a hidden captcha field that you cant access. I must have played with this thing for over an hour until I finally got it to connect. What I did in many different orders, Unplug the device (10seconds or so) plug it back in and hold down the button until it flashes bright white (fast). I also added the switch using the Socket (other). If this is your first time adding any kind of smart device you have to be on a 2.4 Ghz wifi signal. For the rest of you I had auto completed my Pw to make this step go faster. click next and then look back at your plug to make sure its still blinking bright. If not, start over. I must have done this step 20 times. I held down the button even after it was blinking bright as it seemed like it would blink longer if I held it. try to connect the plug again. I also, at some point, went into the settings on the smart home app and allowed Bluetooth to run behind the scenes. If you do this as soon as you push the plus (add) button at the top of the app (and the plug is blinking bright) the plug will actually show up for you and you dont need to choose socket (other). Again I did this at least 20+ times. On my last attempt where it did finally connect, I was holding the button down and it was pairing (previously timing out). when the plug stopped blinking I hit the button again to power it on, then again to power it off. I went to hold down the button again (to get it back into a blinking state) and the app said the plug paired successfully. I was starting to have doubts but it will in fact work with the smart home app. BTW I am on a Pixel 7 Pro After this was all typed up, I think I had a lose outlet. Plugged into a different outlet the smart plug seems less troublesome. Almost like there was a short in the smart plug. Turns out it was the plug I was using. Good Luck

> 3 dayThe Smart Plug has worked really great for 2-weeks now! The app was a little bit of a pain so Im going it 4-stars. Had to download App off of their site instead of the google store. Im using the Smart Plug to turn my landscape lights on/off. FYI....When you set up the events in the app make sure you set up one event to turn on the device you are using and another event to turn off the device you are using. I currently have (2) Smart Plugs on the same App and going to purchase another (2) as I roll out my project to the front of the house.

Greater than one weekI installed this to control my outdoor fountain. I was tired of trying to dial in the old manual timer and guess whether I had the times approximately right. With this, it works perfectly. I can time the fountain to go off when the lights do and come on at a specific time in the morning. I can also use it as a remote control to turn off the fountain when the wind is high and it’s blowing all the water out of it. I read some reviews that indicated the WiFi reception is poor. That’s not been my experience. I connected it to WiFi inside the house before moving it to the outdoor receptacle. Pairing is simple by downloading the app, setting it in pairing mode by holding down the power button for 5 sec, then the app auto discovers the device. Enter your WiFi password and you’re set. I love this device. Really easy to use, the app is great (looks a lot like my SmartLife app) and entering timing programs is intuitive and fast. Two thumbs up!

> 3 dayThis outdoor smart plug was immediately discovered by my Smart Life app. It took me less than 5 minutes to get it completely set up with an automation. Slick!

> 3 dayIve had this outside for almost 2 straight years. I live in Kansas and it has maybe stopped working once, which was because my WiFi was having issues that day. It even fixed itself by resetting to the sunrise/sunset cycle the next day, so thats cool with me. Otherwise, coldest place on the planet one day? No issues. 100 degree heat wave, pouring rain, snow, nonstop high winds--no issues. It works great with the Google assistant or with the app, as I mostly needed some outside lights to turn on and off with the sun cycles. Ill definitely get another if I find myself needing one. The app sucks a bit to navigate though, but thats my only qualm.

Greater than one weekI put this plug on my roof de-icer so I won’t have to go outside behind the bushes to plug them in when is snows. I like that it is connected to Alexa. Makes the process so easy
