> 3 dayThis was probably the fastest pairing zwave s2 device Ive ever used (smartthings hub). The power and energy monitoring seem to be fairly accurate. Power reports every 5 minutes out of the box. I have mine outside in a weatherproof box. No complaints with anything.

Greater than one weekThese work very well with my SmartThings z-wave hub. I purchased the model with the energy monitor which seems to work well and is quite responsive to power draw changes as the appliance may demand. It offers a Power meter read out and a Energy consumption read out. The energy consumption cannot be reset so its usefulness is somewhat limited in my opinion. I guess it must track over all energy consumption in kWh over the life of the unit, but it is uncertain whether it resets itself every week or month or, maybe year? As well as history (through the SmartThings app) both functions can be read graphically, which is very useful for reading the power meter activity at a glance. In the SmartThings app you must select the device from the Favorites icon menu or the Devices menu to read the power consumption functions.

> 3 dayThis is my fourth of these z-wave 2 channel switches. This time I purchased an Amazon Warehouse unit. It was listed as being Like New and in the original package. It was sort of in the original package (the outer sleeve was missing as were the instructions and the protective plastic inner package). I will admit it did not look like there was any damage and had a new type appearance, but it was clear that someone had previously linked it with their hub. The instruction sheet was not in the package. Because I had purchased three of these before I had an instruction sheet and was able to read how to do a factory reset (press button twice quickly and then on third press hold for over 10 seconds). Once reset, the unit went into pairing mode and I was able to connect it with my Smartthings hub. Once linked with the Smartthings hub it identified both plugs and I was able to set them us as desired. As some have indicated, when I purchase my first one of these Smartthings had a little difficulty identifying both plugs, but with a little work the right drivers were found and I was able to independently control both ports. I have not had any issues with any of them dropping out or mysteriously turning themselves on or off. Their low profile and dual port design is why I purchased them.

> 3 dayThese are nice when they work. They tend to go unresponsive from time to time and require a hard power cycle(unplug/plug). They are also a bit difficult to pair.

> 3 dayIf you just need a basic z-wave controller outlet, this is probably a 5 star device. For those with stranger configurations (like myself), Association Group 1, the group that gets pushed status updates from the device, can only contain the primary controller. If you have a secondary/tertiary/etc controller, they wont get updates and youll have to poll the device for its current status. regularly.

> 3 dayI have an appliance that Ive used a 10A rated relay to turn on and off for years. With an identical 10A rating, I expected this MP21ZP to work as well. However, when I first turned it on, it went pop and does not work at all (it doesnt even show as online on the Z-wave network). To be fair, the specs on the MP21ZP are clear that its 10A rating is for resistive loads only, but I honestly thought it would work fine on a 2A motor. Nope; its now completely dead. Setup with Smartthings was a bit frustrating, since it seems to want to set itself up as a S2 security-enabled device, but it doesnt have a boarcode or printed code - you need to abort that part of the setup in Smarthings and wait until Smarthings recovers. A clunky way to add a node. Ive replaced it with an Enbrighten switch, which is working great in my application.

> 3 dayPros: Whatever dim level you set the light To it will stay there when going off and on which is great. Cons: My only hate is for the bright purple light on the switch. That purple light should be configurable to off. I used black tape to cover it :/

Greater than one weekIt is, what it is. Works just as it should except the range is poor for a 7 series Z Wave device.

> 3 dayIf you have a IQPanel you will need to first ensure you have software version 2.71 or newer. Once you confirm/update software you can run the Zwave add device process and the MP31ZP plugs will work. You can also view power usage which is awesome!
