Morakniv Garberg Full Tang Fixed Blade Knife with Carbon Steel Blade
-
Erick
> 3 dayThis is the best value in the knife world, hands down. This Garberg is the definition of a multi use multi purpose bushcraft/survival knife. Now I will admit, the edge is not as sharp as it can be right out of the box. Still much sharper than some custom made bushcraft knives. But not a light saber like the mora 510. Being carbon steel, that’s an easy fix. Once the end user puts the edge on it that they desire, they should only have to strip this to keep it as sharp as he or she wants. A good stone sharpening once or twice a year is likely all this should need to be a serviceable knife for a lifetime. This is always with me In the woods....unless I’m doing an ultra light hike to hit 20 plus miles (then I take a mora companion)

> 3 dayThere are no fixed blade knives on the market for the price as excellent as this one. Moraknivs attention to detail is unequaled and the only way you could beat this knife is to either spend ALOT more money or buy a custom blade and even then you may not be as satisfied.
