> 3 dayHave only had it a few months but not my first mora. Amazing knife. Holds a great edge easy to sharpen if you know how. Yes more expensive then most Moras but it is full tang. If you’re thinking about it just get it.

Greater than one weekQualität, Stabilität, Robustheit, Handhabung, Ergonomie...

> 3 dayLove my two Moras. Bought the companion first and loved it, so I decided to invest in a full tang version. The weight is great and I like the feel and idea of the full tang going through the blade and handle for when I use it for projects that require more wear and tear. They are a great quality knife for bushcraft and outdoor activities. Affordable and easy to have more than one handy with different kits so you know you always have a good knife around when you need one.

> 3 dayGets near razor sharp and stays that way a long time. Incredibly tough as well, and the handle is big enough for my hands to use comfortably. Thick enough to baton wood and still manages to whittle incredibly well. This is my first time relying on a high carbon steel blade and its only been about six months, so well see what it looks like in two years. But I have taken it fishing several times (oiling after), and it still looks like new. Ive never owned a knife worth more than a buck maybe a buck fifty but this is my favorite so far. (Excluding my Leatherman but thats more of a religious thing.)

> 3 dayThe value for the money is great, it does everything you need for a bushcraft knife. I did catch a small nick in the blade on my first time using it, but I was abusing it by batoning it extensively. Overall phenomenal knife.

> 3 dayBought this knife on the recommendation of The Gray Bearded Green Beret. Ive been using it primarily for batoning wood for fires over the past three or four months and it has been excellent due to the thickness of the blade and full tang. The tip is quite strong as well. Its been a workhorse for everything else. I definitely recommend it.

> 3 dayGreat sturdy knife, needs a little sharpening to make it shaving sharp, but its ready to hit the woods straight out of the box.

Greater than one weekThis is a knife that would be in its element doing any task from chores around the house to building a desperately needed fire in a wilderness setting. The same is true of a lot of other Mora knives at a much cheaper price point, of course. If youre sweating the price difference, just buy another model. I promise the difference between life and death is not gonna be whether your knife is full tang or rat tail. That said, if youre going to splurge a little on a knife, at least you know with this one that your not wasting the money on silly design or faddish features. Mora obviously uses good steel, but even if it was crappy material the heft and simplicity of the blade would still make it useful as a tool. The grip is plastic, but it certainly feels rugged enough to keep up and fits well in my largish hands. Mine came sharp, not razor sharp, but more than enough for the intended use. I dont see why Mora should put an extreme edge on this knife for shipment when the whole point of the carbon fiber scandi grind combo is the ease of sharpening it to your preferred sharpness at home or in the field. It does seem like some people might have got genuinely dull ones. Just exchange it for another one, because mine cut through paper on opening (though the thickness of the spine means your tests wont be as smooth as with a more delicate knife). This is not a self defense knife. But its not like most of us are trying to walk around town with a scary looking 9 inch knife on our belts anyway. That situation is why folders were imvented. Then again, unless youre trained in knife combat this long sharp chunk of metal with a solid grip is probably as good as the next one. Anyway, I expect this knife and the thick leather sheath to be helping me and then my kids cut and hack our way through things for many years to come.

> 3 dayThe knife came dull out of the box vs their $10moraknive which was razor sharp and held the edge better
