Did not come sharp, I had to spend about 1 hour working on the edge to make it sharp. I think this is the first Mora Ive bought that wasnt sharp out of the box. These are still great knives, I held out from buying a Garberg for a long time because I thought they looked cheap. I finally got a stainless model for a low price and as soon as I held it I realized it is a well made knife, I immediately began looking for a carbon model and bought it, it didnt come sharp but it is still a well made knife with a lot of carry options.

I have a large collection of knives including some high end bushcraft knives. The Mora Garberg is hands down the best bushcraft knife for the money, that you can get. The leather sheath is adequate but nothing to write home about. I’m going to get a better sheath. The thing is if you loose this knife or manage to destroy it (I don’t know how the hell you would do that). Just order another….a lot of bang for the buck. The scandi grind is easy to sharpen.

THE ONLY issue I have with his knife is it is an identical match t my other Garberg however I do not think it is a true Mora product as it does not say MORA on it anywhere. I think it is a copy. The sheath and other attachments say Morakniv. If it is a copy it is a good copy at that. I contacted Mora and they indicated no knife of theirs will be shipped without being inspected by at least 4 different people. Not having the name and model engraved on the blade would not pass inspection. It is still a great knife but payed full price as if it was a true Mora. If you compare this knife to my other Garberg they are identical. I just wanted a good backup for a camp knife. I contacted Amazon and had no response.

Im pleased with the knife itself. When I ordered it, I opted for the multi-mount system. Ive work the knife on my belt ever since receiving it. The strap broke on the sheath, however, and Im at a loss now as to whom to contact to have it replaced.

I got the knife for my edc bag so I have a fixed blade knife. I got all the accessories set it up to hang on the inside quick access if needed. The grip is easy on the hand the blade is full tang and very thick. Great knife for the price 5 stars all the way around whoever buys one will not be disappointed!!!!!

Mora is among the best as far as Bushcraft knives, and this is their top of the line (although all their knives are good.

I had wanted one of these for years. The quality is top notch. I have been very pleased with every morakniv i have ever owned. This is far and away the best bushcraft ready blade they make. I purchased it with the multi mount sheath. Some may not like the sheath, but I actually like the versatility.
