> 3 dayIt is silent. I highly recommend if your ender 3 didnt come with this or a newer main board. If you are okay with building your own computer or tinkering with electronics, installation will be fine. Else, take your time. I recommend taking a few photos before taking out the original main board so you can reference the locations.

> 3 dayWhen they say its silent, they really mean it! I cant hear the steppers at all over the normal fan noise. The board is well made and installed easily. Upgrading from the stock 4.2.2 board was 1 to 1, all the connecters are in exactly the same place. Editing and compiling the Marlin 2.0.x firmware that I downloaded from GitHub involved a lot of trial and error before I got it right. I had to watch about a dozen YouTube videos, and combine the information gleaned from them, before I got it dialed in. If youre not interested in fiddling with code and re-routing wiring, I wouldnt recommend this project for you. This board, plus the BLtouch bed leveling probe I installed, have made a good printer great! I very happy with the purchase!

Greater than one weekReplaced my old Ender 3 Pro motherboard with this one and I’m amazed. I read the reviews of “it’s so quiet now” and the raving about it, but didn’t believe it because it seemed too good to be true. It is true! I don’t even hear the motors anymore, just the fans. There’s only 1 negative with this, you can’t tell when the print is done because it sounds the same when it’s printing, or sitting with a finished print

> 3 dayIt made the Printer silent, almost... now the motors are SO SILENT that it seems that my printer is gonna take off every print because of the FAN noise. But thats another story. The board does what it says. Also now you can update the firmware only by inserting a micro SD card with only the firmware file and nothing else, super easy

> 3 dayIf you want to make your Ender (3 Pro out of the box, and 3 or 5 with a re-flash of firmware) SILENT (other than the fans, of course) - buy this updated board. Installation is very straight forward - just unplug a cable from your present board, and plug into the exact same spot on this replacement board. The only annoying part I ran into was the amount of hot glue that was used on the stock board to keep the connections in place -- took a little bit of work to get all the cables unplugged because of it.

> 3 dayBest update so far from Creality for your Ender 3 Pro! This will eliminate the stepper motor noise! Its absolutely great! If you are running a stock printer, you will be left with just hearing your fans.

> 3 dayI love how easy it is to update the binary code. I replaced it twice already. A much quieter operation using the new drivers.
