Wow! What a difference! Wish I did this from the beginning. The install takes a little time, but its not bad. Great upgrade all around!

Though it is a great board it has a major flaw, and thats in the firmware! You will not get complete prints until you have flashed the firmware with an upgraded version such as 1.1.9 or higher or your prints will stop from 40 -60% of the way through. Most definitely more quiet than the original board but it is not complete. Just remember after the install you will have to upgrade marlin firmware and everything will be ok.

Install is straight forward. Using the same layout and configuration as the stock Ender 3 Pro board. Took about 45 min total time to complete the upgrade. The difference in noise is impressive, the fan on the hot end is all you can hear now. I had to make no changes to the configuration and was able to re-level and print. There are other after market boards on the market that are cheaper and offer additional features. However, I did not want to invest additional time in troubleshooting or having to flash software. If you are looking for a drop in replacement with added benefits (boot-loader, upgraded drivers for the stepper motors) this is the way to go.

Got it in because stock motherboard fried. Super quiet can’t hear it run other than the occasional low chirp. Got my printer back up and running.

Install was a little tricky but the tools that came with the Ender were all that was needed. The noise reduction on the motors was amazing. Power supply seems a bit louder now but that’s probably because I can’t hear the motors anymore. Biggest plus is the thermal runaway protection.
