I really do love this monitor. It has no picture errors and performs as advertised. It has plenty of in/outputs and many options. My ONLY complaint is when I switch inputs from my PC to PS4. If theyre both on when this happens its no problem. However, if I turn off the PC before I remember to switch the inputs and the monitor turns off with the computer, it is insanely difficult trying to turn it back on to switch to the PS4 input before it turns itself off. It is difficult to determine when the monitor is back on, and it turns off before allowing you to switch inputs. Incredibly frustrating. Without that problem I could have easily rated this as a 5 star monitor.

I purchased this for typical work tasks and wanted the built-in hub to support NIC, keyboard/mouse and daisy chain monitors. Unfortunately I found out from Pixio support that tge NIC only supports 100Mbps speed. This will not work for my needs so I will be returning it.

Im confused because I bought the 144hz TN model but it runs at 165hz. I tried unplugging all my other monitors but it still gave me 165. But windows and Nvidia control panel both say its 144. So thats weird. Colors are off out of the box and need to change some settings to get 144 with nodes but once thats over, its nearly indistinguishable between my HP IPS monitor but without the IPS glow. Has poor viewing angles but thats just apart of TN technology.

For the price, this monitor is truly impressive. I returned a 25 1080p 240hz IPS Monitor ($400) after I tested this Pixio beside it. First, the Pixios pixel density (PPI) is good around 32-34 away from the screen and I was unable to spot the screen door effect. I also found the colors to be vibrant after some minor calibration and a slight saturation boost via my AMD Software. For gaming, the Freesync and motion blur performance was great. No problems. Also, black light bleed was very minimal and I did not notice it while surfing the net or playing games. Lastly, the monitor stand and speakers are trash but I expected that. I had no issues mounting the Pixio on a universal monitor stand. Link Below :) Overall, I am happy with my purchase and plan on keeping it. Update 10/11/22: Ive now had the monitor for five months and its still just okay. Its starting to show signs of problems. Over the months it has developed multiple stuck, red, pixels in various places of the display. Initially running an app designed to reset stuck pixels fixed the problems, but now that no longer works and theyre constantly on all the time. Its quite disappointing, if Im honest. Added a photograph using the recently launched Overwatch 2 to clarify my original reviews comments about the HDR capabilities of each system. As you can see in the image, the Xbox Series X version of OW2 says HDR is not available on this display while the PS5 version clearly shows that HDR is available. Pixios marketing claims the monitor supports Xbox Series HDR at 1080p but that is untrue. No Xbox Series title will recognize this as an HDR compliant display. --- Original Review: Living in a smaller space, I needed something to upgrade my console gaming experience but most decent TVs are 40 and above these days. After looking up the specifications on Pixios website, I settled on the P273 Prime as it hit all the bullet points I cared about. I dont really care about 4K but HDR, 120Hz, low flicker and AMD Freesync support were must haves. Overall, it HAS been a major step up from my old 32 TV from 2015 but not without a host of frustrations. First, the brightness is poor and needs to be on 100% all the time whether youre in a bright room or a dark room. Anything lower than that and the entire display looks dull no matter what other options you set. Although their specifications sheet claims it supports HDR on Xbox Series X | S, in reality neither console detects it as HDR capable and, therefore, doesnt allow you to calibrate the display for HDR. This, apparently, is because the Xbox Series consoles wont recognize HDR on anything lower than 4K displays even if the displays are capable of them. So with the HDR setting turned on On, the display is essentially emulating HDR10 on the Xbox Series games. The Xbox Series has no problems detecting the display as 120Hz capable and defaults to that mode automatically. It also detects the AMD Freesync capabilities but the setting to use it needs to be manually turned to on in the Xbox settings. On the PlayStation 5, HDR works flawlessly on games that support it. The PS5 settings menu allows for HDR calibration. 120Hz mode is also game-dependent but on the games which offer 120Hz modes, the display works perfectly when those modes are enabled. However, the PS5 will not recognize the display as being AMD Freesync VRR compatible, but this is likely due to Sonys recent implementation of VRR and not being fully compliant with all Freesync devices. And then theres the audio quality. Its so bad it makes me wonder why they even included a headphone jack in the first place. There is no bass, the highs clip to the point where they just cut out entirely, and the mids sound like listening to music in tin cans. The issue is so significant that I contacted Pixio support because I was wondering if I had a defective unit. The response I received in return was disheartening. Heres the direct quote from the support e-mail reply: Unfortunately, the audio is as intended. The audio jack is meant for convenience and not sound quality. You will often find that most, if not all, monitors will be the same in audio quality. This feels like a poor excuse to me when cheaper TV units have significantly better digital audio converters in them. I ordered a USB-A to 3.5mm converter that has a better DAC in it, and that cost $5.99. I find it incredulous to believe they spend all the money on display hardware but cheap out on a DAC that makes the audio nearly useless. If youre on PC, this wont be an issue because youre going to be using your PCs on-board or third party audio solution. But if, like me, youre using this as a console display, the only option is to use headphones through the respective controllers or buying a separate bluetooth audio device. This is an inconvenience, how much of one depends on what you already have at hand or if you dont mind faster battery drain from your controllers doing all the audio work for you. All in all I like the display but I rather wish I had spent a bit more on something better. Im still debating returning it and buying something different. But the visuals have been such a step up from my old TV, I dont really want to go back.

I purchased this monitor to compare it next to the MSI 1080 175Hz. I thought this monitor would be superior. I was wrong. The picture quality looks better because of the higher resolution on my ps5.. but when comparing image quality MSI way way superior. Some people love the fade, VIZIO/Sony look. I like vibriant and deep colors similar to Oled. I feel like the quality wasn’t really there. Hope to do another review later on with other Pixio products.

This monitor was sharp. Picture quality was a bit dark when game mode was selected. No lag, no stutter, no nothing. When it very well made... It was a refurbished monitor and my only problem.....it had no sound and I think thats why it was returned. Awesome

It’s near perfect but it came with a tiny scratch out the box, I’m going to see about exchanging it and hopefully then I’ll change to a 5 star
