> 3 day-OLD- (Pixio PX277 Prime) This monitor looked promising. Plugged it in and it worked for about 5minutes. After that I was hit with No Signal and then Power Saving. The display port on the monitor is faulty. Wiggling the DP cable from the box hasnt worked. Positioning the cable to be taut a certain way hasnt worked either. If youre looking for a 165hz monitor that is STABLE, dont go for this. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -EDITED Dec13,2022- Headline: DISPLAYPORT CABLES Contacted support for the monitor(Pixio PX277 Prime) over the past week. I thought the port in the monitor was faulty. Turns out the monitor came with a DP1.2 which wasnt strong enough to hold a connection. I bought a DP1.4 after consulting them and the issue was solved. When I told them the solution, they offered a partial refund for the cable. Make sure you have the correct cables for your gear. Thanks to PixioSupport for being very thorough.

> 3 dayPros: colors were great, 165hz was very nice, only $330 which is pretty great for 1440p 165hz, on screen display was easily controllable with a mini joystick on the back, easy to set up gsync on it, nearly 0 back light bleed. Cons: the stand was very large for my small desk, seemed to have some sort of motion blur effect on some games, and sadly my monitor came with a few dead pixels so I ended up returning it. Overall good monitor for the price if it didn’t have any dead pixels.

> 3 dayI was alittle skeptical of the price point of this monitor since lots of other well known brands were easily $100+ more but after watching reviews on YouTube from some well know tech reviewers I decided to give this one a try. And man I was blown away at performance per dollar I was getting. Is it perfect? No, but at this price point i can’t complain one bit. The colors are far better with the ips display compared to my 240hz Alienware monitor that I pay $400 for. You do need to adjust it manually to get the best out of it but out of the box is fine too. The refresh rate is perfect for this type of output as well. The stand is the only reason why it’s not a perfect 5 stars. Legs poke alittle and not much height adjustment but I’d rather that be the cost savings instead of the screen itself.

Greater than one weekI managed to pick this up while it was on sale. Its a very nice monitor. The color blew me away. I had gotten used to a 144Hz VA which had really dull colors. This monitor looks amazing and Freesync works like its supposed to without issues. I dont really mess with HDR so I cant tell you how well that works. The stand does have a stout aluminum base which is nice to see. I do wish the stand offered height adjustment but its a trade-off for the price. For me it was no big deal as I wanted to get a desk mount stand anyway for both of my monitors. Over all Ive enjoyed this montor and will likely be buying Pixio again in the future.

Greater than one weekI really do love this monitor. It has no picture errors and performs as advertised. It has plenty of in/outputs and many options. My ONLY complaint is when I switch inputs from my PC to PS4. If theyre both on when this happens its no problem. However, if I turn off the PC before I remember to switch the inputs and the monitor turns off with the computer, it is insanely difficult trying to turn it back on to switch to the PS4 input before it turns itself off. It is difficult to determine when the monitor is back on, and it turns off before allowing you to switch inputs. Incredibly frustrating. Without that problem I could have easily rated this as a 5 star monitor.

> 3 dayPX277 - I bought this monitor for 1440p gaming with FreeSync, 165hz refresh rate, and < 1ms response time, with my GTX 1070. I am impressed by its features, and performance, especially at the price point. I was a little worried about FreeSync working with Nvidia G-Sync, since this monitor wasnt on Nvidias compatibility list, but I managed to get it working. You have to enable FreeSync on the monitor before your graphics card will detect the capability. Once FreeSync is enabled, you can enable G-Sync settings from the Nvidia Control Panel. When you go through G-Sync setup, make sure to select the final checkbox, under display specific settings, even if your only using one monitor. Also, review the global 3D settings, and make sure Monitor Technology is set to G-SYNC Compatible. There are some other settings here you may want to tweak for performance. There is an issue with the monitor blanking, due to low frame rates, causing the refresh rate to fall below the monitors range. This rarely happens in game, but it does happen ocassionally. However, some desktop applications, like LibreOffice, also trigger G-Sync, which causes this blanking behavior very frequently, outside of gaming. So I just keep FreeSync disabled, when Im not gaming. I found reference that you can use a third-party app called Custom Resolution Utility to help manage this, but I havent researched it enough yet. Im not sure about HDR, though. Ive never had an HDR capable display before, so its probably a settings issue, but HDR doesnt seem to work properly in some games, then works beautifully in others. I generally leave HDR disabled, unless I know it works for the game Im playing. I almost bought a similar 1440p, G-Sync Certified monitor, with a 144hz refresh rate. But when I saw this one, with higher 165hz refresh rate, at a lower price point, I figured I would give it a shot. Overall, I am very happy with how this monitor performs. FYI; I couldnt find this doccumented anywhere, but you can turn the monitor on/off by long-pressing the menu rocker switch, on the back of the monitor.

Greater than one weekAfter a series of shipping mishaps with USPS, my package was declared ‘lost’ and I was issued a refund. However the monitor ended up showing up at my place later, so I had the refund and the monitor. Of course the right thing to do is let someone know that I did in fact receive the monitor, but upon setting up the monitor I was motivated to immediately call Amazon because the quality was that good. Of course Amazon could take the loss, but Pixio deserved every penny for the quality it delivered. Great color, no dead pixels, minimal glow, good response times. A simple design, minimal adjustability, but if you really care about that then get a VESA mount, I think a devoted monitor stand doesn’t need to do much. It’s super bright for me, I keep it at 10 brightness (out of 100). I’ve hooked it up to a PC and a Xbox series x, works out of the box with either at maximum refresh rate.

> 3 dayFor the price, this monitor is truly impressive. I returned a 25 1080p 240hz IPS Monitor ($400) after I tested this Pixio beside it. First, the Pixios pixel density (PPI) is good around 32-34 away from the screen and I was unable to spot the screen door effect. I also found the colors to be vibrant after some minor calibration and a slight saturation boost via my AMD Software. For gaming, the Freesync and motion blur performance was great. No problems. Also, black light bleed was very minimal and I did not notice it while surfing the net or playing games. Lastly, the monitor stand and speakers are trash but I expected that. I had no issues mounting the Pixio on a universal monitor stand. Link Below :) Overall, I am happy with my purchase and plan on keeping it. > 3 dayPerfect monitor in my eyes, I have no issues with it and it looks amazing. The overdrive setting eliminates ghosting completely in competitive games like apex and cod. There is definitely black light bleed but it has not bothered me at all
