I love this monitor. Did a fair amount of research into finding something I was going to be happy with at this price point, and I found it here. All the features work as advertised, though I have to run with overdrive mode off to prevent any overshoot because Im running on a RX 590, which was not really built for 1440p gaming. I see no ghosting whatsoever, and making a couple of slight tweaks to the color settings puts it in a good place. The stand, while not height adjustable is incredibly solid, though I use a VESA mount so I tend not to really care about the quality of the stand. Big con here, and the reason Im not giving it 5 stars is the quality control. The first one I ordered had a dead pixel. I put in for a replacement, and the replacement had a dead pixel and pretty bad backlight bleed in the bottom left corner (more light bleed than your average IPS glow). The third monitor arrived today with no dead pixels. Still some slight backlight bleed in the bottom left corner, but considerably better than what I was seeing with the initial replacement. Overall, Id say this is a great monitor to get, just pay close attention to any quality controller issues, and get a replacement right away if you come across any.

Ive had this monitor for nearly a year now, Ive had to get it replaced once already because pixels were stuck on green. They replaced the monitor for me, but it shouldnt be an issue in the first place. The stand is also MASSIVE and takes up way too much space on my desk as well as being very heavy and requiring tools to screw in. Otherwise the monitor is great: fast response time, great color depth, dark blacks, high fps.

I rarely leave a review for anything but I put so much research into this purchase I wanted to help some people out. I bought this for my Xbox Series X because its one of the few monitors that can run 120 FPS with HDR with zero issues. I loaded up Warzone and i was seriously stunned by how big of a difference this was from my 1080P Hp 27VX monitor. This monitor is a great value for delivering on those specs through an HDMI 2.0 port. If you want a solid monitor before 4K 120hz monitors are available then this is for you. I also am using this for work and my windows 10 environment kinda looked like crap but the cool thing is that you can have a profile in the menu for work and gaming. So not having to adjust those settings everyday was nice. Now I dont know enough about displays to know why my old 1080P made my Windows 10 environment look better but after fooling around with the settings it was usable and didnt really bother me anymore. My only knock is the stand is insanely sharp and when installing it cut up my wood desk. That could be avoided by putting a cloth down but if you adjust the cables often then you might want a mount or something. It also sits way closer to me now so Im assuming thats one of the reasons why it looks worse for work. The stand wont sit as far back as my old HP so again, maybe look at a different stand for it.

I recently got one of my first paychecks from my job, and the first thing I decided to do was to upgrade my gaming display from 1080p 144hz to 1440p 165hz. The visual fidelity is fantastic, every detail is so sharp and so clear its unbelievably beautiful to see. Not to mention the refresh rate is incredibly smooth for high speed fps gaming. So far I have not had any issues with screen tearing or blurry after images. At the time I bought this monitor, it had a $30 coupon to apply to bring the total price to $250 U.S. with taxes included (I have Amazon Prime so no shipping cost added). For a 1440p 165hz display, it does not get any better than this product at this price range. If you do decide on purchasing this monitor, I highly recommend you go watch a video about it on a YouTube channel called Hardware Unboxed as they have a thorough, well tested review of this specific model. I dont think Ill ever go back to 1080p now!

Would be 5 stars if the stand wasnt the heaviest/biggest part of this monitor. Graphics wise they hit the nail on the head. Rgb light isnt controllable other than on & off (unless I am stupid). The stand legs take up 60% of my desk my desk is 64×64x28 I think. If your cramped for space wall mount or find a different monitor. If on console youll be fine.

Excellent budget 1440p high refresh ips panel. No dead pixels. Slightly higher amount of backlight bleed than other more expensive monitors Ive owned, but only noticeable if Im doing everything I can to see it.

2k gaming is the sweet spot, great video quality, 165 hz, and a great price point. My biggest peeve with it is that when there is 2 inputs in and you shut one off. Only been with this for less than a month at the point of writing this but I still recommend it

I can tell the difference right out of the box. There are some quirks with this monitor. Its not perfect, but for the price, its a solid buy. Pros: - 144hz refresh is butter smooth - No problems with the LED backlighting like Ive seen in some other reviews - The overdrive feature smooths out any noticeable staggering when images are going across the screen- resulting in a very smooth movement of said images. - The lighting is crisp - No issues with monitor detection - Included a DVI cable - G-sync and FreeSync worked fine The Not-So-Good: - The speakers on this are awful. Not bad. Awful. They are tinny and have zero bass: Think AM radio with the bass all the way down. - I had flickering issues when I hooked up a mac. Its not the monitors fault- but be aware that if you are hooking this up to a MacBook Pro- The software has issues. (I primarily use a PC, so I didnt have this problem) - The instructions are non-existent. Just go to their website for anything. All in all, it is a decent buy. Its not a 4K screen, but the smoothness and G-sync compatibility make up for it. And you cant beat the price.

In terms of the actual display Im happy with it, especially at the given price point. The stand is not ideal to me, however. Im not worried about it in terms of sturdiness or stability, it can definitely hold up the screen. But it completely lacks any height adjustment with only a swivel to tilt it up and down. As well as that, the front two legs of the stand jut out very far forward, eating up desk space unnecessarily. The monitor is VESA compatible, so I would highly recommend an alternate mounting solution. Overall the issues with the stand knock a star off for me but in terms of the actual display and panel its great

I dont have too much experience with gaming monitors. Prior to this purchase Ive owned a couple of FHD 144hz gaming monitors. Colors and contrast on those things made competitive gaming easier but design work was horrible. After watching and reading a number of reviews I thought Id give this Pixio a shot to go along with my PC build. This monitor checks soo boxes. It was simple to connect and navigate the menus. The color calibration out of the box is the best Ive seen compared to this displays weve had at the office. The color temperature is slightly cool by default which was easily adjusted to my taste. I know viewing angles are import to some people. I dont understand... what crazy angles are you look at a desktop monitor from? In any case even at extreme angle colors still look great. The extra screen real estate bumping the resolution up to 2k has been quite helpful for design work as well. Now on to gaming. Its a great experience. If your pc rig can push 140+FPS at 1440p this monitor has to be the best option under $300usd. There are also built in gamer related OSDs you can enable like a timer, framerate counter, and crosshairs if thats your thing. Its a great monitor. You cant go wrong this one. ***Some things to note*** - The stand is not most robust. It only has an pitch rotate. So depending on how important ergonomics are to you, you might would want to consider purchasing a monitor arm. - If you plan to run the monitor at 1080p, YOU WILL want to adjust the Overdrive settings to high. I noticed a crazy amount of ghosting at 1080p 60fps until I adjusted the Overdrive.
