Greater than one weekIve had the monitor since December 2020 and hadnt had any issues until recently. The monitor started powering off then on then off again and i was very concerned so i set the monitor to 60hz through windows and it stopped it. I was doing some thermal testing with my fingers. I bought some little heatsinks and slapped them on the back and it has been working just fine since. for wear and tear i suggest putting some heatsinks on the back of the monitor near the middle hdmi port. Hope this review is useful for anyone that reads it

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor to compare it next to the MSI 1080 175Hz. I thought this monitor would be superior. I was wrong. The picture quality looks better because of the higher resolution on my ps5.. but when comparing image quality MSI way way superior. Some people love the fade, VIZIO/Sony look. I like vibriant and deep colors similar to Oled. I feel like the quality wasn’t really there. Hope to do another review later on with other Pixio products.

Greater than one weekIve had this monitor for nearly a year now, Ive had to get it replaced once already because pixels were stuck on green. They replaced the monitor for me, but it shouldnt be an issue in the first place. The stand is also MASSIVE and takes up way too much space on my desk as well as being very heavy and requiring tools to screw in. Otherwise the monitor is great: fast response time, great color depth, dark blacks, high fps.

> 3 dayUPDATE 3 months later: Ive developed a white spot on the monitor, presumably where a backlight LED isnt diffusing properly for whatever reason. This is more noticeable on a pure white background, once you see it you wont be able to un-see it. If it becomes too distracting Ill have to go and ask Pixio if this is covered by their warranty. Additionally, activating FreeSync shifts the entire screen upwards, chopping off the top 5ish pixels of the screen. Bit disappointing, but otherwise this is still a good monitor with great value. -- I was skeptical, but this monitor is fantastic, especially for the price. Just a few years ago a 144Hz IPS wouldve easily cost more than double the price of this one. I have no issues with backlight glow, dead pixels, or ghosting. Colours are to my satisfaction out of the box with minimal tweaking. I will say that this monitor is *very* light, to the point that I almost tip it over every time I push the power button to turn it on, and the included stand is quite short -- a 3rd party stand or VESA arm is pretty much a necessity.

> 3 dayMonitor works fine and does what is says it does HOWEVER, Not sure why, but I am unable to use both 1440p and 120hz at the same time on Xbox series x, so you’re basically stuck deciding which feature you want to use over the other. I’ve tried everything to get them to work at the same time. Decreasing the bits for each pixel didn’t work either. If you’re getting this monitor for series x, I would recommend not doing so. Might as well just get a 1080p monitor with 144hz refresh rate (much cheaper, same features) or spend more money on a monitor that supports both feature on series X at the same time All these comments saying “works great for series X” must not have tried changing the console settings before posting (they have to be manually changed to 120hz and 1440p), otherwise they probably would be having the same issues.

> 3 dayi bought the 27 inch 277 prime and ive seen all the good and bad reviews, i have recieved it and i am more than happy with it, being ips it has bright popping colors and its great with ghosting, ghosting is NOT an issue, not on mine anyways, if someone says that then they got a bad luck of the draw on the panel, and being an ips panel i was worried about bleeding and dark colors not dark enough, both those are not an issue with this monitor, i bought mine for $259 and thats a steal, i would have paid more and still would be very happy, it doesnt have everything the top monitors have but it has everything you can want if you like bright good looking colors that just pop out and fast response, fast 144 or 165hz, 1440p, its just beautiful, if you are thinking about getting the best bang for your buck... watch the youtube reviews on this monitor and buy it, you will be very happy with your purchase.

> 3 dayUpgraded my gaming system earlier this year and finally had a GPU (5700XT) that could drive a 1440p display. Unfortunately that was May and monitors became either unavailable or expensive. I couldnt find a single high refresh 1440p monitor for less than $400 and at that point I was only shooting for 75mhz. So I was pleasantly surprised when this new Pixio became available at $310 (BF sale) with up to 165mhz using Display Port. After watching the Hardware Unboxed review, I pulled the trigger and bought two with the other a gift for my son. Good: - Its just a great display. With the 5700XT Im able to get 60-90fps on high end games and its just beautiful. One extremely useful feature is an on screen fps display. This really helped when I was doing the initial setup because of the annoying habit of Windows to reset your display at 60mhz. Once I was sure Windows had given up I turned it off. - Both FreeSync and GSync compatible. FreeSync is native and easy to activate, but you do have to turn it on at the display and then turn it on inside the Radeon software. Again, the FPS counter was a huge help in confirming that adaptive sync was actually on. There is some misleading information that FreeSync only works with DP but that is not true. DP is only necessary for 165mhz since HDMI does not support over 144mhz. . Setting up GSync takes a little more work but it gets there. Oh and its also compatible with FreeSync Premium - AMDs newer not free at all version fo FreeSync. - Good selection of ports with two HDMI and one Display port. I have my main PC in HDMI 1, a RP4 in HDMI2 and an iMac connected to the Display Port (as a second display). I will likely be switching my PC to the Display Port because my setup has the second display for he iMac on the wrong side and try as I might I cant get used to it. - Decent adjustment controls with a joystick style button on the back right (as you face it) allowing you to use your right hand to use it (sorry lefties). The press right to select is slightly counter intuitive. Not so good: - Biggest negative is a pretty big one - zero adjustability. The stand is completely fixed - no tilt, no swivel, no height (EDIT: I was wrong, there is tilt). Worse it is very low with 5 (12.7CM) distance from the desk surface to the bottom edge of the actual display (not the bezel edge but the display part). For comparison my iMac sits on a small (less than 2) stand and the bottom of the display is just over 8 (20.3CM). Having said all that, the stand is very beefy and holds the monitor well with one exception (see below). - The stand is VERY wide - 16 wide and 10 deep. I was able to find a stand on Monoprice that will fit but it wasnt easy. In hindsight I should have bought an adjustable VESA compatible monitor stand. The monitor accepts VESA 100 mounts and Monoprice has an excellent one. Either way, its $25-30 to fix this stand issue (if it is an issue for you) meaning a competing monitor with a height adjustable stand that cost $20 more is a better value. - The stand has a one button quick release which is really great except it is in a spot that your hand naturally goes to to move the monitor. I nearly dropped the display when I was first getting it setup because I grabbed it by the quick release. Be careful! - I am having an annoying issue with the monitor not waking up from sleep at times. I have not been able to isolate it as a monitor issue or a GPU issue because I had some strange sleep related errors with my last monitor too but this is much worse. I have emailed Pixio tech support but no resolution so far. EDIT: Great response from Pixio. Likely a bad HDMI cable. I switched to Display Port and the problem disappeared. Overall this is a great monitor and an amazing value. If the stand were adjustable I would be ready to call it perfect. If you dont mind the display sitting low or have a ready made solution I have zero reservations about recommending this. If you are doing a dual arm setup your should absolutely consider this. You will be hard pressed to find a monitor at this price point with the features and quality of the P277. Even spending $30 for an adjustable stand its still a great value. No regrets from me.

> 3 dayI play this with my PS5 and graphics and refresh rate is good. I have no complaints here. Alot clearer than my 60 Samsung TV. Im so glad I went either the 27 vs the 24.

> 3 dayIm not the pickiest, but I find the display itself to be very good. Build quality is fine, I have no dead pixels, the bezel is pleasantly tiny, and the refresh rate meets my expectations. There are some frustrating quirks though, things that I cant quite get past. First, when the KVM is enabled, there is a really noticeable coil whine. I contacted their support about it, and they were the ones who identified the KVM as the issue, and as soon as it was disabled, the coil whine went away. Its an unfortunate choice: coil whine or KVM? The second thing that I dont like about this monitor is its aggressive sleep modes and slow wake times. I cant always see the BIOS setup key prompts, because it doesnt wake fast enough after immediately going to sleep for a reboot. I chose to connect the computer to a different monitor for BIOS changes. The only reason Im not more upset is that this monitor was half the price of the other monitors I was looking at with comparable features. Its a good value, despite my frustrations.

Greater than one weekDoes everything you would expect with a really good price point and going from 60hz to 165hz is very noticeable. In mouse movement and aiming in FPS.
