Greater than one weekI have only used 7 of the ports so far, but it seems to work just fine. It even charges my iPod Touch while its connected, which other hubs did not!

> 3 dayI love this hub. Quality build, materials, layout, and function. But the wall AC plug is HUGE (as it incorporates the power adapter portion), and has the potential to completely clog an outlet or power strip. I would much prefer a normal plug and a separate power adapter box down the line, or even built into the USB hub itself.

> 3 dayIve tried any number of USB hubs but this one works the best of any I have used. I have nearly all of the slots in use and they all work great!

> 3 dayI have several Anker USB hubs and chose to get this one because of the number of ports it has. I dont know if its just the unit I received or if all this brand is like this, but I find it very difficult to insert the USB cable into the slots. I have to stand up and push down rather hard to get the connection made. Ive never experienced that with any other hub and it makes me a little nervous pushing so hard could damage the device. Once the connection is made it works well, and would be great if you dont do a lot of inserting and removing the cables. But for my purposes for now, its a challenge to use.

> 3 dayCannot for the life of me figure out why some of the rated areas are assigned to items like these;,but this is a 16 port USB Port with individual port switches and led indicators and not a camera. Given what it really is, it seems to work find. On/Off buttons are a bit chintzy and LED indicatprs when turned off fade really slowly (capacitors). It is a great addition to expand the ports on my Mac Mini (2018).

> 3 dayIts a nice system with one limitation: the USB cable is only three feet long. The hub is intended to sit on top of a desk with all the pretty lights and functional switches, and most people put their PCs on the floor or attached to the underside of the desk on one end of the desk or the other. Both sections of the power cord are each four feet long for a total of eight feet - thats plenty long. But the USB cable is only three long - not quite enough to reach that PC. But this isnt your normal USB cable with a common male on each end. One end - the end that plugs into the hub - is some weird non-standard male that Ive never seen before. I cant just pop open my box of USB cables and pull out a six foot male-on-each-end cable. I need a female/female adapter or a female/male extension cable - neither of which is all that common and neither of which I have in my box. Oh well. Easily solved on my end with another Amazon purchase but, at this price, a longer cable from the manufacturer would have been appreciated. Another issue I have with the hub is that the blue indicator lights are difficult to see without looking down from virtually directly above. This is because they are tiny and sunk a bit into tiny holes. In bright light they are impossible to see without being directly over the hub. Add to this the black switches do not have a different height when on versus off so we cant tell the state of the switch by looking at them. My advice to the manufacturer is to: 1) Brighten the indicator light. 2) Raise the light in the hole so that its surface is even with or above the hub surface, or change the hole so it doesnt have straight walls but rather more of a conical shape so the lights surface can be viewed from more angles. Update After less than two years of use, the ports are starting to fail. Ive given up on this specific device and the manufacturer. I have switched to another manufacture - its much easier to determine which ports are live.

> 3 dayI have had more than a few of this type of unit and considered myself lucky if they worked sometimes or at all. The most common failing was failure after a short period of time on several of the usb ports. This device when it came already had a few advantages. It was tight with a neat and trim frame that takes up less desk space. It cam with the light and switch capacity I wanted. I started using it as soon as it arrived and for the month or so I have had it , I am most impressed. It is still working on all ports and the speed is fine as well as meeting the high demand I put on it.

> 3 daySomeone had posted it was smaller than it appeared online and they were right. I noticed it as soon as I removed the box from the shipping envelope. It is small but accommodates the 10 ports nicely. I have had no trouble using ports next to each other and it is nice being able to control each port separately. If you turn the power off (mine is conntected to a power strip) or if you lose power, when you turn it back on or power is restored the ports you had on will once again turn on automatically. Transfer seems to be fast but I havent had a need to test that much yet. Overall I am very well pleased with this. My old one which was at least 8-10 years old and a different brand was finally starting to fail. Hoping the longevity on this one will be a number of years. So far I would say I highly recommend. Both my USB 2 and USB3 devices are working purfectly.
