> 3 dayI initially bought one for a test station and now we expanded to having 3 of them. Everything works well. Out of the 3 units, one of them has a non working LED on one of the ports. I can live with that. The switches are useful to isolate a specific device or to force a re-enumeration. This hub is made with five 4-port hubs. The output of the first hub feeds the 4 other hubs giving 16 ports. This means that all the ports are equal as far as latency and distance form the PC. In the very common 7 port hubs, you have two 4-port hubs. Three ports are direct on the first hub and four come from the 2nd hub..

> 3 dayI have filled the ports with power hungry devices assuming it was built for just that purpose but it cannot deliver enough juice for my two sound cards, web cam, keyboard and mouse, and a yubikey. Also extremely slow to initialize when switching through KVM to another device. Overall it might be fine for some but I am now looking at even more powerful USB hubs to power all the devices in my multi-computer music production system.

> 3 dayNOTE: The description for the power adapter for the ACASIS 10 Port is incorrect. At least the power adapter that came with mine is a 12V/4A (see picture). The Power Cable is also, a little over 3ft only NOT 10ft as stated. Even the picture that is shown in the description looks to be only 12V/3A so it is clearly a generic picture used here. Now that is out of the way, this doesnt seemed to affect the performance of the Hub during my normal usage so far based on a mix of external 4TB, 5TB, and 6TB drives running simultaneously with USB jump drives and other peripherals such as a scanner and a printer all connected at once. One thing you will have to watch out for is the space in-between each port as it gets really tight if you have nearly all of the ports filled. I am always concern about accidentally bumping or pulling an adjacent USB cable by accident especially if you are transferring files. The way around this is staggering the ports as you plug them in and or remove unused ones or just get a bigger hub I guess. The other thing I concur with a number of other user reviews here is the LED isnt that bright. Unless you are looking top down directly at it you can barely tell the port is used. I have mine on the side and I have to look at it from an angle to see if the port is on. Too bad the button isnt indented slightly to let you know that you pressed it instead of it being just a toggle as another visual. Performance wise, I had no problems transferring files among multiple external drives or printing and transferring at the same time. I didnt take the time to do any benchmarks to see at what point performance starts to degrade. Seeing how it can handle up to 5Gbps downstream you can probably do the math there. Physically it is a sturdy and well built device as far as I can tell. The toggle switches will be a true test on how they perform long term without sticking or stop working after many uses. I wish the power adapter wasnt one of those bricks and would rather have a converter downstream so I dont have to get an extension or use up a valuable surge plug for an oversize adapter on my power strip. The power cord along with the included USB cable are both short, so you are limited on the distance if you need anything longer than 3ft without replacing for longer ones or buying an extension. Be aware the USB hub is always on, so unless you plug it into a power strip that you can control the power the hub is constantly draining power and if you forget to depress the ports being used those devices will continue to drain power as well unless they have smart power management themselves. In summary, I am happy with my purchase and only time will tell as a previous branded USB hub I had went out after 2 years of usage so I guess I cant really complain for a daily hub. Hopefully, this hub will surpass that. I guess well see after 18 months (when the warranty expires).

Greater than one weekI have had this for several months, it is an upgrade/replacement for a hub from a different manufacturer. The hub itself has just enough heft to it to prevent it from sliding around when bumping into cables connected to it. Being able to power off a port vs. unplug a USB device is very nice. The power supply is a sturdy gauge. I am pleased and I recommend it.
