07-06-202592001902647389220000370530Well and solidly made. All buttons/LEDs/ports operate correctly. So solidly made that after I had attached it to my computer desk with strong 3M double-sided tape and a few weeks later, decided to move it, the tape and hub pulled the covering off the computer desk! (I had thought the top was black MDF. But the covering was some sort of black vinyl material. So, very well made hub. One issue, and this is not a criticism of this hub, but rather the entire hub-making industry, is that the ports are incorrectly located if one wants to minimize the clutter and spaghetti-like mess of all the connecting cables, power cords, etc. the average USB A plug with metal, rigid plastic before reaching the flexible plastic is about 3 inches long. Ten of them plugged in totally out weigh the hub if the hub is just placed on the desk. Affixing the hub so one can see the buttons and LEDs (directly facing the user), means the hub has to be placed too far back under the monitor to be readily seen or accessed. The ports should not be on the same surface as the LEDs and buttons. In the attached picture, the ports should be located on the side where my taped-on numbers are. (Or the LEDs & buttons should be on that side.) There are some companies that make right-angle adaptors (Amazon sponsors Oxsubor and Posduo adaptors, as well as others—but does it make sense to spend $50-60 for a hub AND then have to spend another $60-70 for adaptors to make the hub work? I think not!) Industry: change your practices! Clearly the folks who make these hubs never have to use them!

> 3 dayOne of the things I noticed about this hub is that it uses the older USB3 connector. The one which is taller than the regular USB plug. I like this better than the ultra thin USB3 connectors many devices use that fall out too easily. I love this device because #1 it has plenty of outlets #2 it has a button for each channel #3 it is well built, built to last. I attached it to the back panel of my tower case with UHB tape. The connectors are of good quality. It has the serious power supply necessary to push all those channels. So far I am very happy and I have high hopes of remaining so. So far I highly recommend this hub. The picture of the back of my tower case shows the hub mounted horizontally at the top of the case. The picture of the USB tester shows the hub provides a hair over the required voltage.

> 3 dayI replaced a seven port set-up with this. Even with two dead ports, I still have extras. I wouldnt recommend this particular hub, but its serving me for now. Ill take my time shopping for a better hub down the road. Im not requesting a return, for replacement. Ill use it while it lasts. So much tech comes from China now, so no quality control, and no ethics. I understand. I have many Chinese products that didnt function right or didnt work for long. They have been recycled, as will this one when the time comes.

> 3 dayThis is an awesome hub and looks very nice with separate power buttons for each usb port. I have 7 external drives attached to this and it works extremely well. I recommend this product. Updated review 08/14/22 - It has been 2.5 years since I purchased my 10 port ACASIS USB HUB and it still works great like new. I plan to buy another, maybe the 16 port HUB and reassign duties of the 10 HUB at my work station.

> 3 dayI have had more than a few of this type of unit and considered myself lucky if they worked sometimes or at all. The most common failing was failure after a short period of time on several of the usb ports. This device when it came already had a few advantages. It was tight with a neat and trim frame that takes up less desk space. It cam with the light and switch capacity I wanted. I started using it as soon as it arrived and for the month or so I have had it , I am most impressed. It is still working on all ports and the speed is fine as well as meeting the high demand I put on it.

09-06-2025I like my PC to look clean - Im one of those people who puts the case on top of their desk to one side of the monitors. I was tired of having a ton of cables coming off it, so I picked up the 10 port switch. In retrospect, i should have gone with more ports. Its crazy how quickly youll fill ports if theyre available. Being able to run this switch under my desk and have the cables just pop up through a cable management opening looks 100x better. Being able to turn off a USB device with a tap of a button is pretty nice too. Am I weird for watching the power draw on my UPS before and after turning off USB devices? Sure. But it make me feel good to know Im saving power when I dont need to be wasting it.

> 3 dayFor what its worth, when it did work, it was amazing. Now though? Im down about 5 ports and I feel like for how much I spent, it probably should have lasted a bit longer. Like, maybe in another year, I would have been ok with a couple ports failing because then it would have felt like I got my moneys worth. But Im down 5 and it hasnt even been a full two years since I bought this usb hub. :/

> 3 dayThis replaces three USB hubs daisy-chained together for me. With four hard drives, two printers, Ethernet, keyboard, mouse, and cables for iPad, sports devices, cameras, music devices and more hooked up, I needed More Ports. I dont know about reliability (these things seem to last about five years), but the build quality seems pretty good. The port switches are useful for those times when you might need to reset something by unplugging it and plugging it back in again. It cleaned up my desktop clutter a lot.

> 3 dayI never seemed to have enough USB ports for the multiple USB connected products these days. These 10 should work nicely for my needs. I like the fact that there are on/off buttons for each slot & that it doesnt take up very much desk real estate.

> 3 dayI have a Logitech keyboard (K830). This works well for living room computer browsing on TV. And it has both USB receiver and Bluetooth connection support. However keyboard does not have any mechanism (button etc) to switch between these connection methods. My aim was to use the keyboard across 2 computers (One PC and a MAC connected to TV). Keyboard first searches for USB receiver based connection and then when it is not available switches to Bluetooth. After researching a lot, ended up buying the ACASIS USB 10 port HUB on this product page and connected the power for the same through WIFI smart plug (TP link). Have an Aqara mini switch programmed through homeassistant to control the Smart Plug Power to USB hub. Now I can turn on and off the USB receiver of the keyboard (plugged into the USB HUB). This allows me to switch back and forth between PC and MAC. That is lot of details. Writing here so that it might be useful to any one looking for similar solution. Thanks.
