> 3 dayI initially loved this hub. The speed and power was good and with the amount of devices I have, its nice to be able to turn them on and off. However I discovered that my webcam glitches frames every second or two. The camera works fine when plugged directly into the USB port the hub was plugged into. It did this at every resolution and frame rate so I dont think it was a bandwidth issue, just this hub dropping bytes. I also recently tried copying files off of an android phone and it would take almost an hour to read in all the files in a directory with the errors and retries and sometimes would not complete the directory listing.

> 3 dayI got this to replace my aging Anker multi-charger for our home charging station. The quality is solid, has enough power to charge iPad 12.5. One issue I found is the USB on/off switch. Im not sure if it was designed by purpose, but when you turn it on, it does not turn on right away. The light lit up after a few seconds and made you wonder if it works or not. It doesnt really effect what my intend is for this product. I did not test plugging into the computer, but I may also get the smaller one for workplace later to hook up to the laptop.

> 3 dayI have filled the ports with power hungry devices assuming it was built for just that purpose but it cannot deliver enough juice for my two sound cards, web cam, keyboard and mouse, and a yubikey. Also extremely slow to initialize when switching through KVM to another device. Overall it might be fine for some but I am now looking at even more powerful USB hubs to power all the devices in my multi-computer music production system.

04-06-2025Disclaimer: I’ve only had this for a day as of 12/28/19. I tested it to make sure it works and it definitely does. I plugged my hyperx quadcast mic into it and tested everything including the mic itself (sound quality and such) when plugged into this usb hub. I needed this hub to use my mic as I already use all 3 of my USB ports on my laptop. Out of everything I looked at, this seemed to be the safest bet. So, it works and it works well so far.As with everything we need to see if it withstands the test of time, 2+ years for something like this is where I’d say I’d be satisfied. I’ll update this review in 6 months to a year or so or if anything happens before that time then I’ll come back and update.

Greater than one weekI don’t recall the other brand I’ve bought, but I’ve broken the tabs inside where the usb plug goes on those. This one has a metal case, sturdier usb connections, switches that feel higher end… You pay a bit more, but it’s going to last. This is the second I’ve bought after giving up on the cheaper plastic versions.

> 3 dayI purchased a 10 port AmazonBasic hub. I normally love AmazonBasic brand. Its good quality, it works, and never have any problems with it. But...the 10port hub was horrible. It would recognize by MacBook pro half the time. I would have to plug it into one port then into another. It had three charging ports and those were the only ones that worked. I decided to try this hub. Its AWESOME. Plus, I love how you can turn on and off the ports that are in use and when not in use. I have a Stream Deck I use with Adobe Character Animator. I only use it a couple of times a month and here I can press a button and save the energy. Love it!

> 3 dayThis is an awesome hub and looks very nice with separate power buttons for each usb port. I have 7 external drives attached to this and it works extremely well. I recommend this product. Updated review 08/14/22 - It has been 2.5 years since I purchased my 10 port ACASIS USB HUB and it still works great like new. I plan to buy another, maybe the 16 port HUB and reassign duties of the 10 HUB at my work station.

> 3 dayI never seemed to have enough USB ports for the multiple USB connected products these days. These 10 should work nicely for my needs. I like the fact that there are on/off buttons for each slot & that it doesnt take up very much desk real estate.
