The product could be better but if you buy better rope and install it well it works. The rope it comes with is not intended to be used with pullys, it falls apart. BUT for the price, after the rope is replaced, it is OK. NOTE the warrenty excludes damage from product failure for any reason, even defective product!

I recommend that anyone who is considering purchasing this product, purchase large hooks from a hardware store instead. This thing is awful.

My son in love had purchased one from Amazon and loves it so we bought ours and its easy to use and a great way to store bikes. We bought another one already.

I based my rating on the speed of the sellers action sending my purchase on time. I have not install it though but for the price, I cant complain. It does look cheap but you get what you pay for. I am just hoping it will work.

This has given me the ability to park my car in the garage again! I now have 5 bikes hanging from the celing. My seven year old daughter can get her own bike up and down without any help.

We got two and they worked great. Installation was straight forward, but we did get some longer bolts. The cord seems strong enough. No more tripping over bikes in the garage!

Measure twice cut once. I recommend the same philosophy here. Figure out where you want it to go, Measure it twice, drill and screw it in once. Good to go. Been working great for several months. If it help, wear and tear on this, is two-four times a day I take my hybrid bike up and down. Im about 58, and I can stand almost nearly underneath the tires when Its suspended all the way up. They say to not cut the excess rope, But It was bothering me, so I pushed out the rope till the claws were on the ground, and cut the excess rope I deemed appropriate. I then took some heat wrap (not shrink wrap, the black tubing you can use to wrap soldered wires, or exposed electrical components) I had, and put it over the cut area, and shrunk it down just in case to prevent unraveling of the rope. Works great, Super stoked.

I am very pleased with my bike lift purchase. The product was very easy to install, after I found my studs. The directions were very clear and you could go online to view an installation video if needed. I did purchase some longer mounting screws just to be on the safe side. The product works exactly as it says. Im happy that I made the purchase because it has freed up some space in my garage.

I installed two Racor bike lifts in less than an hour. Both operate smoothly and with little effort. Excellent value.
