> 3 dayWe had been considering purchasing this item from a local bike store. Glad I decided to look on Amazon before I purchased. Was about half the price online. Great tool -- we had been lifting and trying to store the bike on our garage ceiling from hooks, but the weight of the bike and height of the ceiling usually meant a foot stool and a bit of frustration to get it securely stored. Now it glides up and down with little effort at all -- not sure why we waited as long as we did to get this product!! Easy install as well.

> 3 dayOnce installed, the ceiling mount worked great to hoist my tri-bike up towards the ceiling. The rope provided is adequate. The lowering of the bike takes some time to get used to but one will eventually learn how to evenly lower the bike. Price is great and the mount help me save space in my garage.

> 3 dayThis hoist is amazing! So easy to set up, so easy to use, and the price is phenominal. The first day I took my bike up and down like six times just because it was so effortless. Recently ive actually just been lowering this hoist to change out tires on my wheels. I lower the bike, pull the wheel while it hangs, change the tire, and then lower the bike back on to the new tire and wheel. this is one of my favorite purchases in a long time. Oh, and I dont know why people complain about the rope. its not the most durable rope, but its plenty substantial for the weight of a bicycle and mine is holding up great. If it fails, you can replace it for $5 worth of nylon rope at home depot, its the pulleys that are expensive, and they work like a champ!

> 3 dayThis item is a simple to use solution for the person with a crowded garage with winter coming on. We all know that having a cluttered garage during the summer is no big deal. Its when we need to park inside to avoid the winter snow and chill that we look for smart solutions. This item is it for me. The package arrived as promised, thanks Prime, with no damage. The item was justly packed with easy to open plastic sacks. The sturdy metal pieces were well finished with no burrs. The instructions were complete, with multiple languages included, and helpful. The item was easy to install and I completed it in aprox 20 minutes... after gathering the tools needed. ( pencil, 1/8 drill bit to predrill, a power drill, tape measure) I am thinking of getting another for the kids bikes as well.
