I purchased two of these bike lifts for my garage. Installation is straightforward with the included instructions and they operate quite smoothly. These bike lifts are a great way to store your bikes up near the ceiling to make room for your cars or other items in your garage.

I purchased two of these because I was sick of my husband complaining of the bikes taking up too much room in the garage. It took us about an hour to hang them both up(plus hoist the bikes) once we got out the tools and figured out where to hang them. Yes, the screws arent of the highest quality, we did strip one and used another similar we found in the garage. But that is the only negative we had. In fact I am ordering at least one more bike rack, possibly a fourth, so ALL the bikes will be off the floor whe not in use. Great product. 12/10....ordered 2 more of these for a total of four(4), LOVE THEM! Showed visiting members of my family and they thought they were great too. Gave them all the info for ordering as well.

Ordered 2 of the from Victors Discount, 1 was fine and works well. The other was missing one pulley assembly. I notified Victors Discount and did not receive a reply. The product itself is good just dont order it from this supplier.

I have 108 ceilings in my garage so the old fashioned J hooks were not an option for me, a couple of these were the answer!

Im very happy to report that this lift works as expected. Once I found a good place in my garage to mount it, it worked fine and got my bike out of the way.

I would not wish this product on an enemy. It was a nightmare to install. I have a horrible kink in my neck and a headache. I would compare this project to Michaelango painting the Sisteen Chapel but at least he was able to lay on his back. The brackets weigh a pound a piece and there is no easy way to install. They kept falling on my head. I tried pre drilling the holes, but how can a person try to screw in a screw while also holding this one pound bracket straight. Then the screws are like boars tusks and would have punched into my upstairs bedroom. I ended up using some nails and small screws. Nightmare to install. Not worth the cost or trouble.

After reading all the complaints I bought two. 1. Bending the handlebar holders to a greater angle on both to insure hold 2. Bending the seat holder on one to accommodate seat design 3. Drilled out the other seat holders to accommodate carabiner clips because of seat design 4. Pre drilling ceiling joist holes and adding just a drop of dishwashing liquid to screws Both work perfectly. No one can manufacture something for all seat designs, so you use your head. December 2014, bought another to hang a 34 lb kayak from with carabiner clips. Works perfect!
