> 24 hourThis is my fourth purchased of this drive. Tremendous upgrade for boot drive or only drive if 500GB is adequate for your needs. Computer experience much better and new life to older computers.

> 24 hourInstalled incredibly easy, and comes with a Samsung CD to clone your old drive to the new SDD. I used the StarTech USB 3.0 to 2.5 SATA III Hard Drive cable to clone the new drive; took some time; I elected to let the cloning process complete overnight. Upon boot-up of the new Samsung, my desktop computer started without a even a hiccup.

> 24 hourInstalled this in my Macbook Pro mid-2010 model. I cloned my existing hard drive with Super Duper and a SATA-to-USB cable, then removed the installed hard drive and installed this one. The only hiccup was that the MS Office applications will require the product key the first time you use them, so have the key handy! This SSD along with a memory upgrade resulted in a noticeable performance boost in my old laptop, and the two items cost me only $220!

> 24 hourIm sure this is a great SSD, but I found out the hard way that this SSD is not compatible with Windows Server 2012 R2. I must have installed windows at least a dozen times before going online looking for help. Its a known issue (Google it, error 0XC000021A) between the SSD and that version of windows, I just wish I would have known about it before. I tried the latest firmware and all, but nothing seemed to work. Ive been building computers for about 20 years now, and this is the first time I encounter an issue like this. Im not sure if this is a Samsung issue or a Microsoft one, but that fact it still stands. You will not be able to configure all the Server services using this SSD.

> 24 hourInstalled the SSD within a few minutes. Pretty straightforward process. Last year I upgraded the RAM on my mid 2012 MBP from 4 GB to 16 GB but didnt do anything about the rotating HDD. The result was that I was never able to go beyond 8 GB even when I opened way more number of applications than I generally do. However... ... after installing this SSD, I opened a similar number of applications and started some casual work and my RAM usage went to 8.22 GB. So, 8 GB should be sufficient for all practical purposes but 16 GB is another installable option if you upgrade to SSD. Next, on HDD the timings to: 1. Start button press to password prompt was: 1 minute and 43 seconds 2. Password prompt to opening Safari with a few test windows from terminal was: 22 seconds 3. From a normal running state to Shutdown: 28 seconds The timings after installation of SSD: 1. Start button press to password prompt: 23 seconds 2. Password prompt to opening Safari with a few test windows from terminal was: 5 seconds 3. From a normal running state to Shutdown: 12 seconds

> 24 hourI am very happy with it because my Toshiba laptop boots faster and programs run smoother. However, it has minor connection issues if you use a slower rated external hard drive. If you open and close a proram, then immediately open another program one second later, it may freeze or error because it may be faster than your processor or RAM memory can handle. I have learned to count to three before I open a second prgram.

> 24 hourSuper fast, and worth it, I think this is the best SSD you will ever get the best value and best performance for home use. I have 2 one for my laptop bought before 1 year, and this new one from a month, and it is doing very well. no issues so far.
