SAMSUNG 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E500B/AM)

Used as a hard drive in my MacBook Pro. Works like a brand new hard drive except it was used and half the price. Great buy

The drive came well packaged and it was simple to install. The benchmarks for this drive is towards the top of the list and for the cost, this was a smart buy.

Bought this to SSD to give my Late 2011 Macbook Pro a boost in performance. The difference is like day and night! The computer and apps respond super fast. I currently have OSX El Capitan 10.11.2 and also the Disk Sensei app ($20) for its TRIM feature. Couldnt be happier :-D

So far, so good. Just built a desktop and used this as a the primary drive. It is very fast when copying data to and from the drive!

Samsung made it super easy to copy my OS onto this ssd with their build in ssd image burner software. Very fast and if I were to do one upgrade to an old computer it would be an upgrade to an ssd, it truly makes a difference in response time, loading time and restart times.

Took my 2010 15 Macbook Pro from an sluggish piece of rubbish back to its original speedy self. I dont have exact numbers, but it took well over a minute to boot-up before installing the new hard drive. Afterwards it takes less than 30 seconds. The loading of applications is markedly faster as well.

Extremely easy to install and set up. It has cut boot up time from 5 minutes plus to less than a minute. The software included makes it simple to migrate your data to the SSD. The price and shipping cost from Amazon was the best I could find.

Working out great as the boot/Windows and application programs drive. Had to do a fresh install of Windows 7 though as their migration program kept generating an error trying to clone the old Windows drive.

My second Evo 850 500GB SSD. I put one in my previous PC to improve speeds. I liked it enough that I bought a second to use in my latest PC build. I would have carried the last one over to the new build, but I decided to keep the other PC around for use in my basement workshop so I can access the web without having to run up and down the stairs any time I needed to researching how to do something. Seemingly getting older in technology years, but still fast and reliable.

I plugged the Samsung 850 EVO into my Dell Inspiron i7559 without any problems. The SSD was recognized by Windows 10 and my laptop bios. Windows 10 installed the proper drivers and I installed the Samsung Magician program which confirmed the device was properly optomized. The Magician software that comes bundled with the drive is pretty good. I didnt use the transfer program so cant comment on it. Overall I am satisfied.
