if youre looking for a quality ssd then this is your guy. Extremely fast, light weight and I know it doesnt matter but it looks better than some of the other ssds Ive owned. Looks sleek whereas some (like the toshiba) look like a bunch of exposed microchips

Awesome ssd. Well worth the money. Very effective upgrade for anyone currently using a hdd. The speed improvement was amazing. I initially ordered the 500gb version. After using it for a few days and being impressed by performance, I purchased the 250gb version for my wifes laptop. Installed in brand new Lenovo t440p with i7 processor and 16gb of ram. Setup was incredibly easy. I installed fresh copy of Windows 7, so I cant speak to the cloning software. Because the laptop is 4th gen i7 with 16gb ram, I did not feel the need to enable rapid mode. The laptop executes applications lightning fast without. I rarely shut off the laptop, but prefer to use standby. Even restarting, laptop is from post to desktop in 7 seconds. The system resumes from standby in 1 second. The Samsung Magician software is very effective, and was the deciding factor in me purchasing this ssd. I had my eye on an ssd from another manufacturer, but the software swayed me to this Samsung drive. I have not needed to use customer service, so I cant speak to that.

I am giving this product 2 stars, because I wanted it for the Samsung Magician Rapid Mode feature, which uses some of your RAM to greatly increases the speed of the drive.. Unfortunately, the Samsung Magician software isnt officially supported under Windows 10 and Rapid mode cant be enabled for 850 drives.(there is a work around for the 840 series) I cant believe that this hasnt been fixed yet. Many of us who installed the preview versions of Windows 10 knew this way before the Windows launch and it has been reported to Samsung by countless numbers of people. I think this is a real black mark against Samsung that they dont support their flagship SSD and I would not buy another 850 until this is fixed..

Samsung continues to shine. This was a nice add to give my older gaming rig a performance bump.

I loved my first one so much Ive since bought three more for other computers. This drive will breathe new life into your computer when you want to speed it up. I am still happy with the performance of my laptop purchased in 2009. Boot up times went from over a minute to about 20 seconds. Ive since replaced the drives for two office computers and my mother in laws computer. Easy transfer of data too.

SSD came fast and works great in my laptop. No issues with the install and the Samsung migration tool transferred/cloned my old drive seamlessly. This item didnt ship with a SATA to USB converter, but already had a 2.5 SATA to USB enclosure, so wasnt a problem for me. Definitely recommend, would buy again, this is a screaming fast drive.

Best decision I ever made to upgrade the hard drive in my laptop to an SSD. The software is also very helpful.

Easy and fast installation in my AsusPro laptop. Boot up and load up speeds are so much faster now. Has made a huge difference in the speed of this computer.
