My laptop is 10 times faster than what it was before, I had slow hard drive on my PC. I ran speed test to see how fast it is speed test came out to be around 3200 mb while my hard drive was at 300 mb.

Update: Received a replacement SSD. After laboring for a couple of hours, it would show up in the device manager as a Samsung SSD. However, neither Magician nor the migration tool identified it as Samsung.

for the quality, the price have dropped into an affordable range. Wished it came with a screw in case folks need it.

I gave install a 3 because installing a new drive on any system can take a minute. I wouldnt want anyone to jump into it who doesnt know what theyre doing. Drive works great. Very quick. Does the job. Bought this to replace the 500gb version because it filled up. Very reliable.

Great SSD, everything runs smooth like butter and boot time is barley even a thing.

I bought it to expand the capacity of my laptops hard drive, I did the cloning with the Samsung cloning tool (Samsung Data Migration) and then I replaced the original 500Gb ssd with the new 970 EVO 1Tb. Everything worked perfect.

coming fron an hhd 7200rpm I can say this is day and night. A must buy for any pc thats supports the ssd. boot times less than 15 seconds. some times even less than 10. applications load way faster and games like KingdomCome Deliverance benefit from the ssd with less cutscenes loading times. also the samsung cloning app worked for me flawless.
