Increased my laptops capacity. I purchased a razer rtx laptop. I had the option of a 256 gb or 512gb for $200 more. I purchased this for about $80 more then going with a 512gb and got myself a larger capacity of storage.

A lot of the video games I play will have tips or pictures with advice during loading screens so you have something to read while you wait for the game to load. Yeah, those are just flashes now. This thing makes you load up content so fast, you cant read those tips anymore. Mine has Windows on it so starting the pc is much faster. Installing software is faster, updating Windows is faster, loading up a program is faster. This was well worth the money.

I bought this intending to use it to replace my 2.5 Patriot Blast SSD that crashed. Knowing I did not have an M.2 slot on my board I also purchased a SilverStone Technology M.2 PCIE Adapter for SATA or PCIE NVMe SSD with Advanced Thermal Solution (ECM22) in order to to utilize this drive. Cloning my OS to the drive did not make it a bootable. Changing all the options I could in my UEFI Bios did not make it bootable.

I’m using the Samsung 970 evo for my OS and I have had no problems out of the box. The M.2 is easy to install, and works as intended. This is my 1st one and I like how fast my pc boots up.

So the 512GB OEM SSD HD in my Apple 15 MBP mid-2014 was starting to fritz out (freezing and question mark folders) and unfortunately Apple still charges a $700 premium for replacement drives. Fortunately there are better alternatives out there. Paired this 1TB bad boy with a Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card for Upgrade 2013-2015 Year Macs(Not Fit Early 2013 MacBook Pro) and after 30 minutes of installation time (most of that time looking for my Torx 5) I was off to the races. Installation was easy and straightforward. High Sierra installer recognized it no problem. For the unsure, installation videos on You Tube.

Awesome stuff, I wish the 2tb was a little more affordable, as good 1tb is seeing how games like Read Dead 2 and CoD MW are over 150GB each, the 1tb wont last long unless you plan to uninstall stuff as you get new games.

This drive is extremely fast and was a breeze to install. Just make sure you have a m.2 screw because this wont come with one, but no SSD does.
