My 4 years old Mac Mini is now very very fast. I am happy with the SSD.

Would repurchase if needed! Built my computer from scratch so it works and I am happy!

I bought 2 of these bad boys in my new rig. I installed it on a z390 motherboard and luckily mine have 3 slots for m.2 drives and heat sinks for them.

If you have never used an SDD card you have no idea what you are missing. I used this for just my OS and I can go from my PC being fully off to online in under 4 seconds. It’s insanity !!!

Installed with new build and POSTed on first boot. Speedy af. My only gripe is that Samsung (and MOBO manufs.) should state that before installation, CSM support should be disabled in BIOS. Works and boots fine but won’t boot without CSM (which could further reduce boot time). But a 5 second boot is nothing to complain about, and I’m not going to reinstall just to shave a few more seconds. 10/10 in functionality and ease of install.

Great drive that I use to boot up my windows 10 in 10 seconds. I have all my applications loaded on here as well and I’ve never experienced these sort of speeds before. Wish I opted for the larger 1tb instead of the 500gigs though.

This 500GB SSD from Samsung is very fast in the tests. I used it in my motherboard on my desktop in a PCIe expansion. It was at that point when I realized my computer only offered SATA II and not SATA III. The speed of this SSD tests out very fast using CrystalMark. And it definitely is faster than the 3.5 Hard Drive. However, the speed when communicating with the SATA SSD is not nearly as fast as the tests. Also, when transferring files via USB 3.0, it transfers files than the HDD does, but it is still limited by the speeds of the USB 3.0 and the speed by which the HDD can write.
