Love it, totally new

My first build using an SSD. Works perfect. Paired this with a Ryzen 3600 and ASRock B450M PRO4 AM4 motherboard.

One of the best purchases for my new build. I bought a 500 gb for the initial build. Bought a second one a few months later because price went down $30. Cant really beat that kind of value. Startup times about 10-15 seconds. What takes the longest time is from button press to BIOs splash screen. Then its only like 3 seconds till I get into windows. Apps start incredibly fast, I barely even notice lag time.

If I could afford it, all of my drives would be SSDs. This drive is fast! I have used it for over 6 months in my media server running the OS, it barely blinks and it is up and running. When it first arrived I though it was the wrong item, the NVMe form factor is so small, comparing this to a similar 500gb drive is like comparing a grape to an orange!

I had wanted one for a while, but they were priced out of reach originally. So when I saw the price dropp I didnt hesitate to order it.

If you have an alienware dont bother to install this if you are doing a hard drive clone. Bios doesnt see it but if you hit F12 it shows up there. Its a pain to have to keep hittingnF12 everytime you start up your laptop.

Easy as any other m.2 to install. Booted right up. Installed windows within minutes. I use it for windows 10 OS and my favorite games. I have a 500gb western digital blue ssd that I use for larger games. To be honest, anyone coming from a hdd will benefit from any ssd and might not be able to see the difference between this and any other ssd. However I know I’m in the presence of excellence when I can push power on my monitor then my pc and before my screen is fully lit, I can see the fully loaded windows desktop waiting on me to make a move. Clicks are instant, no waiting. I click my documents and it instantly appears on screen. I click install or uninstall and there is no hesitation, this ssd allows my i5 8600k to work at its full potential. I will definitely be purchasing another to go into my laptop.
