> 3 daySamsung US is playing games with their 5 year warranty offering, they will not honor the warranty repair of a Samsung SSD that you purchase if the SSD has a Serial number that corresponds to an out of country division manufacturer like Samsung China. It seems that some of the sellers on Amazon are obtaining stocks of SSDs that were not meant for consumption in the US. I tried to get service on my 970 EVO that I purchased new from Amazon two years back, and Samsung US Support told me that my SSD had a serial number from a Samsung manufactuinrg division in China instead of the US, and that they could not help me with getting a warranty replacement. They basically told me that I could get it replaced, but would have to contact Samsung China for warranty service. No phone number or link to help me out, just sorry we cant help you, bye. You would think that if Samsung sells a good product and runs an honorable business, that the warranty coverage would be honored wherver you bought the product from, in this case Amazon US. Part of the reason I purchased the SSD was for the 5 year warranty in case of a failure, nothing like throwing $500 dollars down the drain. Im not Chinese, and I dont read or speak the languge, and Im definitely not going to pay for shipping between the US and China to get a Samsung product repaired that I purchased in the US. Totally rediculous, wont be buying any other SSD products from them in the future, and Ill make sure my friends dont either.

17-11-2024Love it! Super fast!! I have it in an enclosure for my xbox one x. Cuts loading times down to like under 10 seconds. Even on big open world games. Incredible! But it does get really hot. Idk if I should be concerned.. but overall PERFECT!!

> 3 dayLet’s be real. Reviews are just places for us to brag about our builds. Blazing fast is an understatement. After my rig leaves the bios screen, it’s on. Not like, it’s reached usable windows...no, it’s on. Every program in startup is running. Gaming? No loading times other than network limitations. Program installs? They’re finished by the time I click next to start installation. Quite literally, set it and forget it.

> 3 dayI think I am influencing Samsung stock. I have purchased 4 of these this year for 3 builds. All are running fantastically with zero issues!

Greater than one weekI replaced an old SSD in OWC Envoy EX Pro with this new one. Read speed is 2000MB/s, write speed is 2500MB/s.

Greater than one weekYes, the performance bump really is noticeable. Install was on a XPS 15 9570 with no issues. I did a clean OS install. The performance stats after showed about a 3x to 4x bump in read and write speeds. I thought about getting the 970PRO but I think for the price and performance the EVO is great. Id buy again with no issues.
