Okay, to be fair, the last external hard drive I had was not an SSD. That in itself makes an absolutely massive difference in speed. So I dont have a frame of reference for going from one external SSD to another, but my MBP for the last many years have all been SSD so I realize the speed difference. Here is why all that was worth typing: If youre coming from ANY non-SSD external hard drive to this thing you are about to be blown away. I just transferred a 125GB Photos library in a couple of minutes. I started a Time Machine backup thinking it would be 4 or 5 hours. It will be done in less than 15 minutes. That is insane. This thing is nuts. It showed up right away on my Mac but I changed the file format to APFS Encrypted to add a password and it is working great. If this thing lasts and has any longevity at all it will be a huge win. I may even buy another one. Wow.

Super fast, super sleek, super quality. That’s all I need to say. Works with both my Mac and PC out of the box which was nice. If you’re on the fence, just get it. $100 is well worth the price for this unit. Don’t go with a cheap option, it’s better save up for this.

Lightweight, compact, fast, looks durable, gets a little warm when watching films directly from it but nothing critical, really. Have used it for a couple of months, so far no problems. Would definitely recommend

This is the second Samsung SSD Ive owned and it works just as well as the first. Great brand and great product.

Unlike other SSD product options, this HD works fine as Super Duper backup source. Time will tell.

So far the best SSD. Super compact.

The website says Samsung T7 Touch, but I received the Samsung T7, it is not the touch version

This Pic is the 1st one I received, called Amazon cust support and they immediately shipped out a return label and a replacement drive, hopefully not run over by the truck. Replacement is sierra hotel fast, compact, and has plenty of storage room. Just waiting on my return to get delivered back to Amazon to clear up the initial crashed delivery. Thanks amazon for the turnaround and help for this old Prime customer
