This SSD drive is really good! Very fast and easy to use. Videos, pictures it’s amazing how fast you can fill up flash drives and SD cards. This is what you need!

After less than six months of occasional use (for storing large files), this reported that it was low on disk space and became very slow and unusable. It failed significantly faster than other SSD units Ive had before, and I would not recommend it based on this experience.

This is my second Samsung SSD - the first one is 1TB. Fast, reliable. Lightweight.

Will use for photos backup on two duplicate partitions. Happy with a number of previously purchased Samsung hard drives and expect the same quality with this. Being an SSD only time will tell on data retention.

Not Big Sur compatible, cant use AFS format, USB-C cable only, not Thunderbolt USB-C. All my drives and backup using AFS, Disk Utility wont convert to AFS nor any tools from samsung to do so. Also speed test wss 800, way lower than advertised.

Definitely small in size, but BIG in getting the job done. I could actually stick it in the back pocket of my jeans! Great product and a respected name in electronics.
