It does what it suppose to do

If your ChannelMaster DVR+ is sluggish, the problem is likely the external hard drive. A SSD works faster because it doesn’t require a moving arm, lasers, and a spinning disc to access videos/data. This SSD formatted and installed correctly by the DVR+ system, and so far (2 weeks in) DVR video replay has been very snappy! FYI, a bad HD can hold the entire ChannelMaster DVR+ system hostage, so if you’re having the same issue, try this SSD!

I love how compact and how portable it is. Works great as a backup to my T7 1GB I use for more storage on my Surface Notebook.

Really nice product! Have numerous of these and wish theyd come in a capacity larger than 2TB. But for now, LOVE the ones I have. SOOOO FAST, quiet, dead reliable, attractive. Never thought Id like the red one but WOW, that color is gorgeous. Blue is beautiful as well.

This is defective or fake. Bought one and return for second. Both only 32GB not 1T. Scam item.

Small size, fast speeds, no problems as of yet. Honestly, highly recommended (granted, I do not have much experience with external SSDs).

Must have gotten a lemon. From the get go I have received bad sector warnings preventing write functions. Purchased several months ago. Tried to reformat the drive but it will sit for hours without completing…which now makes it completely useless. Honestly, I expected more from Samsung. Amazon support was very kind…but they gave me a Samsung number in Korea…no international call on my cell service. Just now tossed it in garbage.
