> 3 dayIt’s smaller and faster than a hard drive that is not solid-state. I’m using it as a time machine on my Mac

> 3 day1> Small, same width & length as a pack of cigarettes, but not as thick. 2> Extremely light in weight since the case is pure aluminum. 3> Cool to slightly warm to the touch after backup, not hot as others have stated. 4> Dont like MBR or Exfat, so changed to GPT and NTFS like the rest of my drives.

> 3 dayI had this drive for a few days and it just didnt work at all. I have the T5 and thought this would be a great upgrade to record at a higher quality but it didnt work. It stopped immediately after hitting the record button no matter the camera settings I had. So as of right now I wouldnt recommend this particular drive if youre using it as an external recording device.

> 3 dayJust spent about 6 hours with Apple tech support as to why this SSD would not work with my M1 Mac. After reinstalling my OS twice, they finally concluded the problem is with the SSD. It turns out that Samsung requires that you install firmware on your Mac to make this operate. This requires going into the startup security utility and modifying the kernel. This is so anti-user-friendly. BTW, my other SSDs are plug and play. Awful design Samsung.

> 3 dayIm using this SSD for my Xbox series x and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The load and transfer times are phenomenal. Its a great alternative to the expansion cards. You wont be able to play series x but regular games load quick and you can transfer games from and to the internal storage within minutes. Very happy with this product. I recommend the seller. What was advertised is what I received. Cheers!

> 3 dayI believe all the reviews about overheating are premature. Yes, initially, during the first 1tb of information transferred it did get very warm but Ive been using it for my photos primary library as well as my Time Machine backup for everything else and its not constantly hot. Its normal and expected temperature now, room temperature when not heavily accessed and a warm whenever I need to do a large transfer but not unreasonably warm. I use Mac OS Big Sur. I reformatted it to Apples primary APFS format before using and its just doing great for me. I use both the 1tb and 2tb versions simultaneously. no problem.
