Great size and superb speed. It is exactly what it says it will be. Looking forward to the inevitable higher capacities greater than the existing 2TB.

I was actually surprised at how small and light the drive was when I got it. Im using it on a 2017 13 MacBook Pro and have it formatted with APFS (Encrypted). While Im not seeing the quoted average up to speeds of 500+ MB/s, they are still impressive (see screenshot). I use this drive for my video editing (scratch disk and saving). It works great for Final Cut Pro and ScreenFlow Pro.

Love this drive for travelling because it is small and easy to hook up to my Lenovo C930

The storage is great, however, I get notifications from the software popping up every couple of hours even though there is nothing to install. I was able, after contacting Samsung tech support get the initial software update installed but they were not able to tell me how to stop the pop-ups which are annoying but not harmful.

Made my old Mac mini ( late 2012) like new.

I am not sure if this is legit or not, I trust Amazon and they did give me a full refund, but I did a test with h2testw and it gave me this report.

The hard drive show almost full when arived.

Upgraded my external with this. Has good speed and is super light weight. Super small compared to my old SSD external. Absolutely love it.

We have two other Samsung portable SSDs...a 0.5 TB, and a 1 TB. This one appears slightly larger than the 1 TB, and comes with two cables (a standard USB cable, and a USB-C cable. It seems just as fast as the other drive. Ive had no failures with any of the drives in this line. Very small, and nice looking. Highly recommended. Now, I just wish theyd put two of them together in a RAID configuration for travel, and Id be all set!

This is great for moving my files around. Now I only have one thing to carry instead of four USB Sticks.
