> 24 hourI researched and studied and tossed it back and forth in my mind forever….. and now I feel stupid because this f’n thing is amazing! I have a dog and a cat and Steve (I named it Steve) has gobbled up every strand of fur there is. There is also something incredible about the carpet ALWAYS having nice straight clean vacuum lines! I’ve already bought another one for my downstairs! One will do both levels but I’m too lazy to carry it.

> 24 hourMost of the other reviews cover the great features of this robotic vacuum, so I will tell you of our experience in our two level house. I charged it and mapped the upstairs. It cleaned several times over the week transitioning from carpet to hardwood and hardwood to tile with a threshold and did a great job. Love the straight line pattern instead of the chaotic every which way program. Then I wanted to try the downstairs without loosing my upstairs map. I took Sharkie and the base downstairs, plugged him in and pressed clean on the app. We left to go out with friends and returned about 2.5 hours later and he was still cleaning! Half the livingroom had vacuum lines, but he was in another room. However, before he finished, the other half was done! He knew to come back and finish, even without mapping. We added hardwood floors over our old linoleum and this made the space up against the kitchen cabinets too short for the robot to go in. I thought I would just have to get that space by hand, but no! Somehow with the two sweepers and the edge blowing function, he got all the debris out of the toekick area. The only downside of not mapping before cleaning is that you can’t tell it to clean a specific room. If you want him to clean the whole level, just press clean. No map needed!

> 24 hourI was so ready to absolutely love this vacuum and mop combo robot. I am a little disappointed. The vacuum and mopping the robot actually did was adequate. It vacuumed very well and mopped adequately for in between deep cleaning. In order to use the mop feature you have to designate carpet areas. I have area rugs in the kitchen and the living room. The carpet area zone feature would not let me designate a small and precise enough area for the rug so I ended up folding the rugs up and putting them in a chair or couch. This is not practical for every day usage so I will end up using the vacuum only function much of the time. This makes me really sad since the vacuum mop function was the main reason for the purchase. Another issue was I requested the robot to clean the entire house. It cleaned about a third of the area, went back to base and declared the job complete. I thought maybe it had gone back to base to chare but the battery was still at 40%. I waited a little while for the battery to charge completely and again requested a entire house clean. This time it cleaned about 40% of the requested area. My house still has not been completely vacuumed or mopped after two requests.

> 24 hourThis robot arrived a few days ago and I promptly set it up. It had no problem connecting to my eero mesh wifi, which supports 2.4 ghz as well as higher bands. The app setup was easy, and it did a good job mapping the floor. Then I sent it off to clean. The first time through I had to manually pull out all the hair and dust that it accumulated, despite using the setting to evacuate and resume which is supposed to empty itself more frequently. After that it has empted itself fine, and collected a TON of debris. One issue with the robot itself, I picked this model because the self cleaning brushroll was supposed to avoid getting tangled with hair, which is the bane of my existence with my upright vacuum. But no, I have to manually remove hair from the brushroll. Fortunately this is fairly easy to do. Other issue is with the app. There is an extended clean setting where it is supposed to just keep going and going until it has to recharge itself. But this setting would not turn on. I contacted support and they said they would have to perform a firmware update. This happened automagically and the next afternoon the setting worked fine. I wish there was a simple option to relocate the dock in case we decide to move it, but it appears that I will have to delete the map and run through the explore cycle again to do so. I think it is very dumb that you cant map multiple floors with different home locations if you want to relocate the dock to another floor and have it focus on that floor for a day or so. I put it in my basement but the layout is very different and it will clean awhile but eventually get lost. Also that carpet is pretty new and theres a lot of carpet fibers that need to be vacuumed, and it keeps getting clogged and the brushroll is covered in hair and carpet. Once I go through it a few times it should be easy to maintain, but its a pain to start, especially without an accurate map. Why not give the ability to map different floors? Seems like a reasonable feature to add. Overall giving it 4/5 because of the issues noted above, but it seems to work very well and the self-emptying feature is pretty great.

> 24 hourI love this Shark robot sweeper! It has room mapping , keeps 60 days worth of dirt, if there’s a problem it notifies you via your phone and tells you exactly what the issue is and how to fix it. It’s smart, if it sees an object in its way it goes around it. Has no trouble docking itself, and unloading the debris it’s collected. I haven’t used my upright sweeper since I bought this Shark Robot sweeper. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a derp clean of their carpets and other flooring!

> 24 hourOverall: For fur-shedding pet owners - This is a great option to keep the day-to-day fur buildup under control, but does not substitute for deep cleaning, and does require removing excess fur buildup on the brushes and rollers every 3-5 days. Let me set the stage: We have two long-haired golden retrievers and they shed a massive amount of fur. We have a mix of hardwood and carpets and if we dont vacuum for a few days we start getting fur-tumbleweeds. We thought we would give this Shark Robot vacuum a try and overall I am very pleased with it. The AI technology is very impressive. It mapped out our 2,200 sq ft single story home in about 25 minutes and didnt even need to run around all of the edges in the space to map out details like island counters, couches, table legs, etc. Since then it has run once per day and we have noticed a significant shift in the amount of fur we are seeing on the floors. It takes about 90 minutes to run through the approved 1,200 sq ft vacuum space in the house. It transitions from hardwood to carpet and over doorways without issue. Im shocked at how it can navigate under side tables and couches that have as little as 1/4 clearance on top/sides! It has ventured into rooms when doors are left open that it wasnt mapped to go into on occasion, which is my only knock on it. As expected, I have to flip it over and cut the dog fur thats wrapped around the brushes out every 3-5 days. If we didnt have pets with long fur I cant imagine Id ever have to do this and have had to clean fur from brushes on even the most expensive or regular vacuums. This so far (after 1 month) has been well worth the investment!

> 24 hourThis has definite improvements in navigation from the older models. This robot goes right to the correct room to vacuum without bouncing off walls and furniture. It is louder than the older model.
