> 3 dayHave owned a self emptying Shark robot vacuum for a few years. Previous robot started having issues and was offered a discount on same model (warranty had expired). Great customer service experience with Shark. Decided to upgrade to this model with AI. Couldnt be happier with performance. Superior mapping and matrix cleaning technology has helped keep our house with 2 large dogs, and a 2 year old much cleaner than before.

Greater than one weekI had to return the robot because every time it went back to its base station, a burnt/smoky smell would come out and linger for hours. Besides that: Cons: 1. Alexa integration is not great. I say ask shark to ..., it always asks which robot, mostly two times. I only have one robot (!). Also when I say ask shark to clean the kitchen, it asks which robot and then says ok shark is cleaning the kitchen now. But then it goes on to clean everywhere. You have to get on to the app to get it to do anything. 2. return to station to charge makes the robot go back to the base too prematurely. There is still 40% charge when the robot decides to go back to charge. If it didnt, it could actually finish cleaning my apartment on a single charge. Not letting the battery go below 40% is bad for battery life. 3. It sometimes goes around the same area more than once, as if it is obsessed with it. I dont understand why. 4. It doesnt detect short objects and it goes at anything on the floor. So you cannot forget phone cables etc. lying around. Pros: 1. It doesnt easily get stuck and it usually finds its way back to the station. 2. The empty station is very convenient. 3. I dont think it has a very good suction power but since it doesnt get stuck and it can clean everyday without your intervention, I think it does a good job keeping the floors clean. Too bad I had to return for the burnt smell. Maybe I got a faulty unit but I wont risk buying another one.

> 3 dayI dont know what i did before we had Carl. Carl has become part of our house, one dog dont care, the other dog runs away from it, and the cat attacks it, but even after all of that torment Carl sucks it up and keeps cleaning. Sometimes Carl gets a little drunk and runs in circles, but for the most part does an amazing job at tracking its routes and cleaning in an efficient manner.

Greater than one weekSo far Im loving this. It does a much better job than I expected it to. Its mapped the house and just goes about its business. It does take awhile, but worth it.

Greater than one week26 minutes, mapped the whole house. No errors. Doesnt bump into thing, which previous version did until it broke three bumpers. This one is louder. But does a great job. Working with Alexa is not great I give it a room to clean, then it clear the whole house. The app works perfect They should put a small piezoelectric spk that runs on a button battery for locating the unit when the main battery dies.

Greater than one weekWhy did I wait so long?! I love our robot vacuum. It is sort of like a little pet that sits in the corner patiently waiting to pick up the crumbs until you give it the command. We named ours Clean Latifah (or Queenie). She does a good job and we just love that it is one less thing to do. My house has never felt cleaner. Now if I could only get her to do the toilets! We got another one for the second story of our home and named her...Meryl Sweep! ;-)

> 3 dayAfter a couple months with the Shark, I can safely say this: its great for daily carpet maintenance. Its quiet, thorough, and at max power the vacuum gets...about 90% of whats in its path. Is that disappointing? Not really. This is my first robot vacuum, and running this guy 5 mornings a week has my carpets looking cleaner than ever. It rarely gets stuck, has never gotten lost, and the base really does hold weeks of debris without needing emptied. Overall definitely worth the purchase. Some other quick takeaways: - If you have multiple levels (stairs) in your home your options are to either get multiple Sharks, carry it down to the level away from its base and manually start it (itll do the room, and return to where I started), or install a Roomba ramp. We went with the latter (pictured), and the little guy finds his way down to the living room each morning. - Itll get hung up around any obstructions lower than 4 inches or so. It eventually finds its way, but watching it bump around can be frustrating - The mop. Utterly useless. It basically vacuums while shimmying a wet microfiber cloth behind it. When the mop is installed, any carpet will get it stuck, so youve got the designate no-go areas. Filling and cleaning the reservoir is as much if not more hassle than filling a mop bucket. Its a Shark 1-in-1 for me. - Deep clean is cool. Drop it where you need extra cleaning, and itll work a 5x5 grid front and back, side to side. - The app is pretty cool, letting you visualize what the Shark sees and where it goes. You cant see where it is in real time, and can only schedule one cleaning per day, but otherwise it does everything I need. Overall, if you want a decent robot vacuum and love those fresh carpet lines daily, Id say go for it.

> 3 dayI think it does a great job picking up dust and dirt, and I like the mapping system so I can do specific rooms, areas, etc. I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily a one-stop-shop for deep cleaning. Often in tight corners I’ll find crumbs and dust after running. And the mapping took a while to set up, and still misses a few spots when I run in certain areas. Still need a regular vaccum or duster for tighter corners

> 3 dayFor the price and the reviews I expected a lot more from this bot. There are almost no directions with it. It only maps one floor. So probably works great if you have only one floor. But if you have more than one floor what customer service told me is you have to turn the machine off, carry it to new floor, and start it not from the app (or it will mess up your map), but just push the clean button. Then on any other floor but the main one it is not a smart robot. It just bounces around randomly until it decides it is done cleaning and then stops and says it cant find its base. In my experience of almost a month it misses entire rooms. I would rather have a robot without the self empty base that is smart no matter where you put it and cleans the whole house. I had a Neato D85 for years before this and it did that. No app, no mapping, but who cares? What I care about is my house getting clean and this bot is not doing it. Have two more days to return, but I got it on sale and cant afford the one I really want- Roomba i7+.

> 3 dayThis robot vac is amazing! I have tried other brands and this has surpassed them all for me. I read some of the other reviews and honestly they sound more like user error than product error. I‘be had mine for almost 2 years and have had zero glitching with the app unless it was because my WiFi went out so it logged me out of the app. But, it never deleted my map or anything like that. Also, one review said they couldn’t get parts; well you absolutely can. Maybe not direct from the manufacturer but there’s a multitude of different companies selling replacement parts on Amazon. I say get it! It makes cleaning so much easier, especially if you have kids or fur babies! I couldn’t use mine for a week while I waited for my replacement parts to get delivered and it really made me appreciate how much work it takes off my hands m, because I was seriously struggling to keep my 5000 square feet of living space feeling and looking clean.
