Greater than one weekWe have messy kids and a sweet dog that sheds constantly. This robot vacuum keeps our floors virtually fur and debris free. It does a great job navigating obstacles and even cleans well around our kitchen table and chairs. It does take several hours to complete its cleaning of about 1200 square feet and needs a ~2 hour recharging break in the middle. It works well on rugs, carpets and bare floors. The AI and obstacle learning is surprisingly sophisticated. One of our kids feeds it scraps of paper occasionally and tells the vacuum that it is doing a great job so you can thank her for staving off the coming AI takeover (just kidding). This vacuum is amazing.

> 3 dayBought this on sale and I think it works much better than thr Roomba it replaced from 8 years ago along with one for the upstairs that was purchased at a similar price point. Unlike the Roomba it always finds the base station and it cleans itself to the base station. Its also less likely to get stuck in my opinion. Overall its decent and definelty would purchase again.

> 3 dayThis robot vac is amazing! I have tried other brands and this has surpassed them all for me. I read some of the other reviews and honestly they sound more like user error than product error. I‘be had mine for almost 2 years and have had zero glitching with the app unless it was because my WiFi went out so it logged me out of the app. But, it never deleted my map or anything like that. Also, one review said they couldn’t get parts; well you absolutely can. Maybe not direct from the manufacturer but there’s a multitude of different companies selling replacement parts on Amazon. I say get it! It makes cleaning so much easier, especially if you have kids or fur babies! I couldn’t use mine for a week while I waited for my replacement parts to get delivered and it really made me appreciate how much work it takes off my hands m, because I was seriously struggling to keep my 5000 square feet of living space feeling and looking clean.

> 3 dayI run my shark everyday. My carpet has never looked better. Not quite as good as my upright vacuum but I would rarely vacuum like I should.

> 3 dayI had been contemplating upgrading my iRobot 670 for some time. It wasn’t really doing the job. I have 2 dogs, both heavy shedders. Working full-time and going to school full time I wanted something to help maintain a clean floor. This isn’t a replacement for a regular vacuum but it really comes close and does a great job. The mapping created during initial exploration is very accurate and the robot follows it each time. The floor upon which it roams is probably 90% low pile carpet (the bane of my existence until I can replace it with vinyl plank). Keep in mind, if there are any loose threads they will get caught. This is common for me because my husky and German shepherd so if I see one, I cut it to avoid that problem. For those who are terrible at cable management such as myself, it will normally navigate around or over cords though I would keep them clear. Small cables like mini USB or charging cables can get sucked up. It has three suction modes (eco, normal and max). For my purposes I always use Max and it’s not incredibly noisy. It is far quieter than my old Roomba. I can still watch tv comfortably and hear perfectly fine while its running. The self-emptying bin works great. Some complain it’s loud but it’s not that bad, and c’mon, it only takes about 10 seconds. The first couple times I ran it, I had to manually empty the dust cup on the robot because of dog hair. I think it was just finding more than I got with my regular vacuum. Now, running it once daily I haven’t had to do it. Oh, another great thing about this robot is the roller. Dog hair will not get caught in it !! With my old Roomba, I had to de-hair the roller after each use. Overall, this unit was significantly more than I ever wanted to pay, but so far it’s been worth it because of its efficiency and low maintenance. I’m really happy that I pulled the trigger.

> 3 dayWe have a husky and she shed a lot after winter. Shark keeps the floors clean and picks up fur. Given the amount of fur, 60 day container has to be cleaned out every 3-4 days. But that is not a problem since vac keeps ahead of collecting the fur.

Greater than one weekI researched and studied and tossed it back and forth in my mind forever….. and now I feel stupid because this f’n thing is amazing! I have a dog and a cat and Steve (I named it Steve) has gobbled up every strand of fur there is. There is also something incredible about the carpet ALWAYS having nice straight clean vacuum lines! I’ve already bought another one for my downstairs! One will do both levels but I’m too lazy to carry it.

> 3 dayWhy did I wait so long?! I love our robot vacuum. It is sort of like a little pet that sits in the corner patiently waiting to pick up the crumbs until you give it the command. We named ours Clean Latifah (or Queenie). She does a good job and we just love that it is one less thing to do. My house has never felt cleaner. Now if I could only get her to do the toilets! We got another one for the second story of our home and named her...Meryl Sweep! ;-)

> 3 dayFor the price and the reviews I expected a lot more from this bot. There are almost no directions with it. It only maps one floor. So probably works great if you have only one floor. But if you have more than one floor what customer service told me is you have to turn the machine off, carry it to new floor, and start it not from the app (or it will mess up your map), but just push the clean button. Then on any other floor but the main one it is not a smart robot. It just bounces around randomly until it decides it is done cleaning and then stops and says it cant find its base. In my experience of almost a month it misses entire rooms. I would rather have a robot without the self empty base that is smart no matter where you put it and cleans the whole house. I had a Neato D85 for years before this and it did that. No app, no mapping, but who cares? What I care about is my house getting clean and this bot is not doing it. Have two more days to return, but I got it on sale and cant afford the one I really want- Roomba i7+.
