The microphone was shipped and arrived the same day I ordered it—very fast shipping. I can see why everybody loves the SM7B because it sounds so good.

I am skeptical about buying this type of equipment on Amazon because there are so many counterfeits. However this microphone his legit. It sounds fine, it’s good quality. The only thing I definitely recommend is that you buy a cloud lifter. I am using this microphone with a Rodecaster and it does pick up the mic on the podmic setting and it doesn’t sound bad but I can hear a distortion. In other words it has the dB to make the sound audible, however for the best sound use the cloud lifter.

I like the voice quality and noise cancellation of this mic. It is an overkill for my usage which are mostly zoom meetings throughout the day but this definitely levels up sound quality several notch for my daily meetings. Be sure to use it with cloudlifter and this is the best as it gets

The Shure Sm7b is (in my opinion) the best vocal microphone out there for the money. I use it for recording voice-over for videos, my brother uses it for more musical purposes, and it shines for both! We have 3 microphones (Shure SM7b, Blue Spark, and my very first mic the CAD GXL2200), and since getting the Shure I havent touched the other 2 for vocals.

This microphone is fabulous. Its my second SM7b and the 8th one for our radio station. Ive been using them for 13 years now with complete satisfaction. It is perfect for any type of voice so if you using it for on-air broadcasting, a podcast or for voiceovers it is perfect. The internal air suspension is great and there is no need for a pop guard as the foam pop-shield that comes standard works like a dream. Knowing that this model was used for Michael Jacksons vocals on his Thriller album is an added confirmation that this is a superb microphone. The shielding on this microphone is also topnotch. Overall this microphone will outperform some microphones in the $2000 category.
