First let’s get price out the way, $400 for a microphone is crazy unless you need the best that’s were this truly shines the Shure SM7B is by far the best design material and sound I have ever gotten from a microphone however if your going to use a cheap or basic interface it won’t sound much better then other mics with the hissing and background noise however, if you have some sort of software or interface that you can control and customize your voice, it becomes something completely different I’m always getting compliments and being asked if I’m a streamer I recommend the GoXLR for this in terms of gaming it’s easy to use and has so many features with great sound I would hope one day this mic would maybe be $300-350 but seriously amazing just make sure your interface is good enough to pair with this because you will need extra phantom power to hear yourself loud enough

Before you drop this much money on a microphone... make sure you understand what it’s geared towards.

do not buy, the sound quality is not worth the money. this is a 100$ microphone

Lo siento pero no es tan bueno como dicen, si es muy bueno, pero no como para que te gastes 700 dólares en èl, ( vale 400 pero necesitas cosas adicionales para sacarle el $100) al final te viene saliendo como 800 dólares. No vale la pena, ahora hay mejores opciones. Es silencioso eso puede ser una ventaja para algunos que buscan aislar ruido ambiente, pero no sé si estás dispuesto a gastar mucho dinero por eso, además de que pasas incómodo porque te tienes que mantener casi besándolo para escucharte. El problema no es su calidad de sonido si no que es una opción pésima si quieres un producto relación calidad precio, es caro y no lo vale en estos tiempos ya salieron mejores por $ 100.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and he LOVES it. There was a promo at the time to call a number and get a discount, it was so easy!

Ordered this about 4 months ago, was waiting to get a usb interface before using finally got one and opened the sm7b up and got it plugged in only to realize it was a fake. Extremely disappointed.
