Great mic. A classic. Sounds better than many multi-thousand dollar mics. You really cant go wrong for the price.

I have a hight pitch voice and the mic it really suit me but for the price its too expensive. Because you need to have a cloudlifter or good pre amp in order to sound clear.- My voice sounds a little bit sexy despite its bad. Only used it in 2 videos, i will update soon! And rate up it deserved.-

The mic sounds great but plan on spending more money on a cloud lifter to boost the signal. Good for lead vocals and guitar cabs.

I like the voice quality and noise cancellation of this mic. It is an overkill for my usage which are mostly zoom meetings throughout the day but this definitely levels up sound quality several notch for my daily meetings. Be sure to use it with cloudlifter and this is the best as it gets

Well worth every penny. I do my FM radio shift from my house using only this microphone and a laptop. It sounds exactly like I am in the studio at our radio station. We also use the same microphones at the radio station. I am looking into purchasing a Cloudlifter to boost the volume, as this mic is a bit quiet.

Microfono in assoluto eccezionale. In termini relativi, dipende. Lo utilizzo per registrare voiceover per podcast in ambiente non trattato. Se non avete una scheda audio professionale, necessità di un pre amplificatore che gli regali almeno 25 db, così da non aumentare il volume di ingresso della scheda audio all’inverosimile, prendendo quindi un sacco di noise. Lo utilizzo con Scarlett 2i2 terza gen+cloudlifter+Reaper se registro o con Scarlett 2i2 terza gen+cloudlifter+Dbx 280s se vado live. Infatti, se siete in ambiente non trattato, vi servirà un noise gate. Oltre al fatto che in assoluto alla chain dovete aggiungere un de-esser e un compressore. In confronto al Podmic, che ho utilizzato per un anno e mezzo, lo Shure Sm7b permette di intervenire molto meno in post produzione per schiarire la voce o per equalizzare. Infatti, la voce, anche senza equalizzare in post, risulta molto più fedele e comprensibile. Chiaramente, il podmic fa il suo sporco lavoro, ma dovete intervenire in post produzione, rischiando di compromettere la naturalezza del suono della vostra voce. Molto buone le funzioni di equalizzazione integrate nello Shure Sm7b. Avete la possibilità di tagliare sotto gli 80 Hz, levando via molto del rumore di fondo e attenuando le frequenze basse e boostare le medio-alte. Ottima la seconda spugna antipop che fa il suo egregio lavoro. Con il podmic avevo acquistato la spugna Rode a parte.
