The Shure SM7B is a fantastic microphone. When setup properly this thing produces crisp, clean, professional audio with the lowest of noise floors; even in less than ideal conditions.

Mir gefällt das Klangbild des Mikrofons. Ich benutze es mit einem Behringer Xenyx1622 Mischpult, aber es rauscht sehr, weil das Mikrofon sehr viel Gain braucht und das von dem Mischpult nicht bekommt, ich muss mir noch einen Compressor oder ähnliches kaufen damit das Rauschen weniger wird.

This is a great mic - WHEN you hook it to a CloudLifter ($150). Otherwise, you may not have enough room to turn up the gain. Youre basically turning it into a condenser and, honestly - there are better options out there. The Blue Yeti Pro is cheaper and better for voice-over work. This is a solid mic though... I just wish it had WAYYY more gain out of the box, because the CloudLifter puts its price range well beyond what you need to pay for better sound quality.

This microphone is the best i had purchased, i used it for ADR in movie field and its the best i had used, perfect for recording in the field or in the studio, you wont be disappointed.
