> 3 dayI would still use my Neumann in the studio, but for recording sessions in untreated rooms or for very loud singers in general, this mic is the bomb. Works well on any source although I would rather use something else on acoustic guitars. Make sure you have a good preamp though, you’re gonna need it! If it helps, my Apollo Twin works very well for that, especially when tracking through any UAD plugin.

> 3 dayMe gusto mucho como aísla el sonido de fondo, como realza la voz y como fue muy fácil conectarlo a la consola que ya tenia. La pude conectar al brazo de micrófono neewer que tenía muy fácilmente. Todo muy bien. Creo que lo único malo es que te debes de pegar mucho el micrófono a la boca para que se escuche bien pero fuera de ello todo muy bien.

> 3 dayI record mostly rock vocalists, and this mic smooths everything out real nice! I was using one of several large diaphragm mics, but there was often a harshness that they captured. This mic sounds great!

> 3 dayFor this mic, it records audio at -59db, meaning it is way too quiet unless you have a air horn as your voice. Another $400 on other products and mixers are required for good sound capture quality. Overall, good mic, but price is too high.

> 3 dayThe SM7b has been my dream mic and I was so happy to finally get it. However, if you are just switching from USB to XLR mics for the first time like me, it is a lot more of a journey/expense than you may think!
