I have purchased quite a few Silicone Power shock proof external hard drives and I couldnt be happier with them. They are extremely easy to use, have the perfect amount of storage for what I need them for and the size is very convenient for travel. Plus, I have never had any issues with the ones that have inadvertently got away from me and crashed to the floor. The armor is completely effective. The seller always gets the product out in a timely manner. Even with the current delays in deliveries all over the nation due to Covid-19 and the Christmas season, I received my latest package a day early. They are amazing.

Bought this to use with MP3s in the car audio system (Ford Sync). Came preformatted with FAT32, which is what the system needed to see. Worked like a champ. Have about 150 Gig of MP3s and have had no problem playing them. Pros - LED (when drive is connected) will indicate whether connected to USB 2 or 3 by color. Non-skid strips on bottom and bumper around drive. Cons - while it is called a rugged armor drive, the LED shines thru the plastic shell so it cant be that rugged. Shell has a little flex to it also. Seems to be a good drive so far.

A very good device to store tons of games, movies, tv shows, music, or whatever media youd like. I have so much stored on it and yet its not even halfway full. The USB 3.0 makes data transfers very fast(as long as you have the 3.0 jacks). The only thing that I have found that is wrong with this product is that the little black things that hold the USB cable come off very easily. They can go back on, but they are easily lost. All in all 5/5 stars! Edit: Have had this for almost a year now and still working good as ever.

Can confirm this is all of the things it boasts about... I got this for my friend who has two wild children who have demolished her last 3 external hard drives, so I figured this would be perfect.... But I wanted to test it first... I Put about 10gb worth of assorted files on this little thing, and it transferred more quickly than I anticipated. Then I proceeded to drop it down 3 flights of stairs (slinky style) Still worked fine, only a couple of scuffs, transferred a couple more gigs of stuff, still fast. Then I went to the bathroom and let this thing it in the bathtub submersed for 20 mins(I know it only says water resistant but I figured why not?) dried it off and plugged it in, and success! I couldnt have been more surprised or impressed.

I bought this HD because it claims to be resistant and I had very bad experiences in the past with HD that would go bad by just shaking them too hard or any simple movement. I have not confirmed its water resistance or its shock resistance. 10 days after purchase I was using the HD (moving some files to it so I could take them to work next day for a meeting), all good, then I turned off the computer and unplugged it. 30 mins later I plug it and it prompts me to format in order to be able to use it. I lost all my files just like that. It did not fall, got wet, I was not even touched. This is horrible.

This hard drive says that it has 1T but when I start transferring my fils for some reason only half of the space was available on disk even tho it was totally empty. Also for Mac users you need to refresh the disc and go through process that you can transfer files from Mac. Not so happy about it, even tho it’s looks stylish and so light.

I had no clue where to start when purchasing a portable hard drive! I asked one of my technologically savvy friends what advice he had and he told me that he always purchases his portable hard drives based on the cheapest price and the best rating. So that is exactly what I did. With this product you are getting your monies worth, it is a steal in opinion! It was SUPER FRIENDLY with my MACBOOK. I plugged the hard drive in and timeshare popped right up asking to back up my hard drive. It is LIGHT WEIGHT and has a short cable, which comes with connectors so that the cable can be neatly stored around the end. VERY CONVENIENT so you do not lose it! To wrap it up if you are looking for something to store a few files so free up some room on your computer this product is a NO BRAINER PURCHASE!

This works beautifully and is so light and compact. I only have one very minor complaint. The part that attaches the cord to the actual device pops off very easily. I wish that the connecting part was actually a part of the overall device.

Received this today. Beautiful design, reformatted for Mac with no problems. I bought the 1TB model and have 992GB free after erasing + reformatting. Feels secure although the top and bottom are plastic, I would feel more comfortable if they had a rubberized coating as well (like on the sides) - my only gripe. 2 minutes to transfer 2GB on USB 2.0, I will have to test on 3.0 when I get my new computer.
