The major complaint that I have is that they advertise no hidden costs but then when you attempt to set up monitoring with notifications, you have to pay at least $9.99/month. Deceptive.

One morning, with the alarm still on, I accendently opened a window after waking up, when I opened the bedroom door and went into the living room I could hear a very weak sound coming from the alarm. My wife slept right thru it. We later called Simply Safe Tech Support and found out that was as loud as it would go, so then they tried to sell us a louder alarm for $60. Why do they have such a weak alarm sound that wont even wake up someone sleeping only 12 feet away from the alarm. The weak alarm wouldnt deter an intruder. We should have bought ADT.

After using the system for serval years, it has been trouble free. Easy to install and use. Quick technical support when you have a question.

Horrible customer service! It doesn’t do anything more than the stuff you can get at the hardware store. This system is a waste of time trying to drain money out of your pocket

All good for what I paid for

Ive used this system for almost a year and it works well. One of my sensors quit working and I called for help. Was on the phone for 25 minutes, tech kept putting me on hold to check his resource on answering my questions. Said no help because I didnt subscribe to the monitoring service he couldnt access my system and help me. While on hold again I removed the sensor from the doorframe, popped out the old battery, inserted and new one and everything works as it should. When he came back on the line I told him I had fixed it myself and no thanks to him. I am an 80 year old woman and better at this that he was.

Hi we bought the Simplisafe system for our home, but the base station did not give off a signal so the home is still not being monitored. Simplisafe has mailed us a replacement but because we purchased on Amazon it is not the same and if we decided to sell our system the new base has no value and is black in color. I paid $200 for this set and am very disappointed. I cant even contact anyone to get a true replacement from Amazon

This is our first time using a home security system and Im glad we picked SimpliSafe. It was very easy to install. I installed all the pieces in less than 30 minutes. I used the app and it walked me through every part. I love that the entry sensors give you the option to screw into the wall/door or use a 3M tape (provided) since some of my doors have molding that prevented the 3M tape from sticking. So far it works like a charm and gives you 72 hours of practice mode after youve installed. Thank goodness b/c I would forget I put the house in Home mode over night.

One of the entryway sensors came with a dead battery which was not expected and totally inconvenient.

This company and their products are complete garbage just like their billing, customer service, and additional charges they add on to the monthly bill.
