System is exactly as advertised. Easy to install and easy to add on. Instructions werent too clear on the test signal but otherwise Im very happy with this purchase.

Lives up to its name — dead simple and easy to set up and use. Minimalist design makes sensors and switches “go away” in my interiors. A beautiful and simple out of the box experience. Recommended!

The application will not work of you are outside UK/US, the registration form will not let you verify your account if you not have a phone number in those regions and tech support says it is an expected behavior.

I purchased this product and returned it as the motion sensor did not function as advertised. It was highly faulty, and did not seem to detect any movement at all. That on its own would only give this a 2 or 3 star, as the other components seemed fine. The return process and cancellation seemed easy at first. I called in July 2022 and was quickly processed, returned the equipment, and received my refund. A few months later I found out they had still been charging my credit card a monthly fee, despite the July 2022 cancellation, and the fact that all equipment had been returned. When I called to get a refund, I spent hours on the phone with them, and was told to email them multiple times, and they would not take any action. In the end, I had to contact my credit card company. Simplisafe has deceptive practices, and clearly makes it as difficult as possible to cancel their service in an effort to keep people paying the monthly fee, even when they have cancelled service.

Setting up the security system and sensors is VERY easy to do thanks to clear instructions. Theres no broken English or misspellings or other nonsense to contend with. Its all wireless, so thats a HUGE plus. The sensors are all put in place via sticky tape, OR you have the option to use the provided screws to secure things in place. Arming & disarming the alarm is straightforward. Ill tell ya, setting up this equipment is the easiest project Ive had in months.

Customer service is over an hour wait to talk to someone once your a customer. Alarm just random goes off when it’s not set

SimpliSafe? More like SimpliJunk. Yeah you save money but you get what you pay for. Cameras are absurdly slow to activate, if they even activate at all. Someones on your property so you try to see what theyre doing by waking up the camera. Maybe three minutes later itll finally connect and by that time theyre gone or youre already dead. Batteries drain quickly and constantly need charging. Door sensors constantly go offline and then back online for no reason. The app is terrible. This system has never worked properly and Ive had it a year. Call SimpliSafe and they just laughed when I told them about how slow the cameras are to connect. Complete garbage company with a garbage product.
