> 3 dayI set this up in an apartment I was renting. Only negative is that the “sticky stuff” used to hold up the pieces release after 45 days or so on the bigger pieces

> 3 dayI love this system. I replaced a system that was 12 years old, that I had purchased from our previous alarm company. The old system was much more expensive and had to be installed by them. It lacked all of the modern features like remote monitoring and use (by us). SimpliSafe is very easy to install and use. The customer service is really good as well. I really love the app for both installing the system and using it. It is so easy to arm/disarm and check the status of. I love being able to check on my home while we are away. The main hub uses both WiFi and cellular as backup. When I first got the system it had an older cellular modem that is no longer compatible with the network. They sent me an updated modem and instructions for installing it. It was simple and free. Their service really is great. The only downside I have noticed are: 1) The adhesive on the door and window sensors did not stick that well to a couple of my windows. I had to replace the adhesive but honestly, I think I may end up getting a stronger adhesive for all of the sensors and replacing them all down the road. 2) The sensor in my daughters room said it was unable to connect. They sent me a replacement sensor. It has since given me that message one time, but it has been working for weeks now. Perhaps it was just a glitch.

> 3 dayTitle states that it is Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant. However, it doesnt state anywhere that the compatible cost 27.99 a month. However, you wont find out to after you install the system, activate, and then try linking you SimpliSafe account to be told that is not compatible. 2 stars because it is a fairly easy install and seems nice. Marketing is very scammy, hope their services are better.

Greater than one weekPhysical product is fine but phone support is virtually non-existent. 35 and 45 minutes waits on two separate occasions. I purchased a smoke detector to pair with the Simplisafe alarm system and found it impossible to know whether it was paired, would trigger a fire department response, etc. We will see if they contact me by email, but so far Im disappointed with customer service.

> 3 dayComponents for the Simpli safe system are completely unreliable. Since I purchased my Simpisafe system multiple sensors and motion detectors have gone out and not worked. Customer service was unwilling to help and replace the malfunctioning pieces of the system. Do yourself a favor, don’t buy this system. I found out later the components don’t work on aluminum windows which was not in the book it came with!!

> 3 daySetting up the security system and sensors is VERY easy to do thanks to clear instructions. Theres no broken English or misspellings or other nonsense to contend with. Its all wireless, so thats a HUGE plus. The sensors are all put in place via sticky tape, OR you have the option to use the provided screws to secure things in place. Arming & disarming the alarm is straightforward. Ill tell ya, setting up this equipment is the easiest project Ive had in months.

> 3 dayOf my 4 entry sensors, 3 of them fell to the floor less than a week after I placed them on my doors. I now have them taped up with clear shipping tape to keep them from falling. Had my system been armed when they fell, they would have triggered false alarms to the city police. Not a great way to start a relationship with a new system.

Greater than one weekThis system uses a radio frequency (433.92Mh) shared by many home devices such as baby monitors, garage openers, and even handheld radio scanners. If your neighbors happened to turn on one of these devices while a burglar was attempting to rob your home the door sensor would not be able to communicate with the main SimpliSafe hub and the alarm would not trigger. If a burglar bought a cheap car starter they could potentially enter your home without triggering the alarm. The hub is supposed to detect interference and notify you but this is highly unreliable. The problem is the door sensors they give you are under powered and easily drowned out. I wouldnt trust my security to a company that cut corners like this. They dont tell you why they are able to offer you this service for so cheap because most people would never think to look for the companies FCC filings to find this out. A simple Google search could yield you the same information. I wont be using SimpliSafe and Ill look at a more reputable security company.

Greater than one weekI like the product.... my only issue was the fact that it had been misadvertised to include a camera... Having said that, it is a great product.
