> 3 dayEasy to learn! We are a bit older (50ish, lol), and we play it with our kids (30ish) It is simple but requires thinking and you never know who is going to win! Which is fun.

Greater than one weekThis was a new game a friend had introduced. We found it easily on Amazon and it was in our hands within two days.

> 3 dayWow what a game. We enjoy board games - this is a keeper with us. Its fun to try to best the other players. This would be good for older kids because it demands the use of strategy. We also appreciate the fact that it doesnt take all day to play. Two people can enjoy a quick game before dinner. The box and play pieces are sturdy and nicely made. The box stores them nicely to protect all the cards and coins. The colors are rich, and the pictures are relevant to the theme. The quality of the game and fun of play make this game worth its price.

> 3 dayThis game was a spontaneous purchase for me but my friends and I enjoyed it right away. Ive played probably half a dozen games in the couple months Ive owned it. We even gave it a go with just two players and found it scaled down very nicely. One thing that did hinder our first couple games was the instructions werent that well written. However, we got the gist of things and realized that the purchased cards counted towards your resources and made things in the 3rd tier possible [we originally thought it was a typo that something required 7 of something]. All in all - the game played well and tested our strategy skills a little trying to out-maneuver our peers. The game cards/tiles themselves are solidly made and the plastic chips have quite a bit of heft (which makes for some intense noises when your opponent slams their chips down to claim a card you had your eye on). I did like the artwork style, and would love to see more cards made in an expansion pack of some sort. As far as long term replayability, there is indeed a fair amount of randomness in the card draws as well as what your peers will do which helps with bringing us back to play this again. It also depends on the people you play with, beware of those sneaky players who lie in wait and then steamroll you at the end.

> 3 dayThe instruction booklet is two pages long. It takes less than that to explain how to play. This is great considering a lot of games nowadays have 15 page instruction booklets that take you an hour and a half to learn how to play. The cards are good material, and the little gem tokens are hefty and feel good to play with. It is a fun game with a bit of strategy, and a bit of luck, and fairly quick.

18-11-2024My brother brought this along to try on a father son trip, and thought skeptical about the interest with teenagers and adults liking the same thing. We were amazed at how fun this was. My teenagers were showing strategic thinking and enjoying beating their uncle and dad. I got back and my kids wanted their own set to play with their friends. This is a faster strategic game than CATAN.
